A welcome light, also called a puddle light, projects a spotlight onto the ground before the vehicle’s entryways. LED light is emitted from the bottom of the side mirrors or open doors.
Often, the light projects in the shape of the automaker’s logo. It’s a fancy but low-tech safety feature that trickled down from luxury brands. A welcome light is excellent for spotting puddles and debris near the car or monsters underneath.
