A Tesla Supercharger is a proprietary charging system unique to Tesla electric vehicles. A Tesla Supercharger uses 480-volt DC (direct current) at up to 250 kilowatts to quickly charge a Tesla’s battery pack.
Tesla plans to open 7,500 of its fast chargers to all electric vehicles by the end of 2024.
