Positive Review
The Volvo product stands for safety and sustainability and this car represents it thoroughly. 9700 miles in 1 year trouble free aside from 1 recall to resolve a potential issue with electric motor torque failure. I did not experience any issues... I am on my 4th tank of fuel 91 octane or better since I utilize the plug in extended range for most of my driving. The car goes from mild to wild when I put the drivers setting into power mode. 455hp combined and 523 lb ft of torque. I know this next perk is a weird one but I love cleaning this cars exterior. Some cars when drying after an exterior wash bleed water from many nooks and crannies but this car is so tight it does not.
Critical Review
The S60 is a real looker, but, update, as of today Oct 22 2019. 1805. Garlyn Shelton and Volvo, have had my car so many days, i am not sure of the total, i believe we are now at 15/18 days total. I have not had any response or update from Garlyn Shelton or Volvo. Have left at least 2 messages, with NO response. Seems like No Response is good customer service. Navigation issues x4, vibrating door and blown speaker (alleged), hood release trim x2, TPMS, Full reinstall of computer system, Brakes fluttering, Navigation still unresolved. Sales Team at Garlyn Shelton Volvo has treated me well enough during the sales experience. Sadly enough, since the begining of September my Volvo S60 t6 has visited the shop almost weekly. And has now stayed in the shop for 11 of the past 14 days. It seems that silence is the preferred response from Garlyn Shelton and Volvo "care" team. I am supposed to accept this situation with no complaint or resolution to the amount of time frustration and stress lost due to this situation. Im paying for a vehicle.im not using, and driving a loaner, at least that. One thing for sure, i wont be back.

These are some of the biggest deals on the market. Hertz is flooding the market reducing the number of cars in their premium cars in their fleet. Just bought a 2024 s 60 Black Plus with 11,000 from a Volvo Dealer that bought a number of these car and then sold them with a Volvo certification that now takes the Volvo factory warranty from 4 yrs/50K miles, to 5 yrs unlimited miles. Mine is less than a 1 year in service, Volvo certified, and I got it for only 28K. So far other than its so technical it takes a while to figure out how to set up and get use to temp controls, radio, etc but runs smooth, looks great, and no issues.
Comfort, Efficiency, B&W stereo
Paint Quality & Subpar Interior Materials
Very comfortable for highway trips. Quite nimble for such a big, heavy car. Heated seats & steering wheel are delightful. Mpg is impressive, consistent 23 mpg in town as much as 37 on Tucson to Phoenix jaunts. (Esp with T6 motor & Polestar tune) Bowers & Wilkins stereo will blow you away. Fusion Red paint job is not the best showing imperfections & easily scratches & chips. Console plastics feel cheap & scratch easily.
2019 S60 T6 AWD momentum bought in 2020 at Ramsey Volvo in NJ. I have been having issues with the brakes since I purchased the car. Rotors have to be replaced again at 32k miles (after been replaced at 14k and 22k miles under warranty) because they are warped. This is a very well known and documented issue with Volvos. Dealer and Volvo Customer Service are claiming rotors are wearable parts so I have to pay for replacing them. Very disappointed by the dealer and Volvo. Unacceptable that rotors last then 10k miles and that such a well known issue (even my dealer Ramsey Volvo in NJ confirmed) is not taken care of by Volvo. Volvo lost a customer.
These cars are very comfortable and easy to drive. Pretty quick and when in sport mode they move and handle great. Maintenance can be a little expensive but you only have to go in once a year or 10k miles. Once you have a heads up display I think it will be hard to go back to anything that does not have it.
Quick and efficient, quiet and comfortable
There are some blind spots

Looks, performance
Car sits low and entrance/exit difficult
Fun to drive, fair to good highway mileage, good to avg. city mileage. I have experienced 0 problems in three years, 18000 miles.
Interior, Ride Quality
MPG is average
I own a 2019 Volvo s60 T6 AWD Inscription. The Volvo dealer experience is very good, certainly better than most (I was treated much better than the Lexus and BMW dealers I have been to). Same goes for their service. I've had a couple small issues that were fully covered under warranty and the service team was great. As far the car itself, I would say it is excellent for someone looking for a luxurious car that is smooth and quiet but can also be really fun to drive if you're in the mood. The T6 gets 315hp from a turbocharger and supercharger, so the car isn't loud or sporty, but it is quick. I find myself speeding without even noticing because the cabin is so quiet and the acceleration is so smooth. I've always been a fan of Volvo's Swedish exterior styling, but I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea. As for the interior, I think it's pretty clear this is the most beautiful sedan on the market. This car is STUNNING on the inside. The seats are incredible (especially on the Inscription model with thigh seat extensions), and all the materials are very high quality and work together very well. Volvo's Inscription models all have the best interiors on the market, and that's a hill I will die on. I feel like I just melt into the seats. I would recommend this car to anyone who wants a luxurious experience but doesn't want to add another 3 series to the road. On the spectrum of luxury sedans, I would say this is cooler and more sporty than most Lexus models, but more refined and classy than BMWs and Mercedes. It falls very close to and Audi A4.
