Positive Review
My experience with my Venza has been great so far, with two small exceptions. I put a hitch on it, and it tows great, even though it's just the 4 cylinder. It gets pretty good gas mileage (it averages about 22 city and probably 26 highway), and handles well. Replacing its tires is one of the exceptions -- the tire size (245/55/19) makes the replacements super expensive (about $200/tire). Additionally, I am thankful every day that I paid the extra for the Poly Steel coverage -- because the light-colored upholstery shows everything! Overall, though, it's a fantastic car.
Critical Review
Almost everything is perfect. Paint is already coming off @ 11 months and Toyota will not cover this under warranty.

I’ve owned/driven a Peugeot 504, a couple of Caravans, a Volvo Wagon XC70, & several Toyotas including a Camry V6 XLE, an Avalon XLS, & a Matrix. Although the V6 Camry was a little bullet & fun to drive, and the Avalon was a luxury ride, nothing compares to the 2015 Toyota Venza V6 AWD XLE! With it’s beautiful leather interior, upgraded JBL audio system, and AWD reliability in New England weather, our Venza XLE has never let us down on the highway, in the city, or in some very deep snow. Long rides are extremely comfortable for both front & back passengers. The Venza’s slightly lower height, compared to traditional SUVs, makes it easy for young, old, & even pet passengers to rnter & exit the vehicle. And every new backseat passenger we’ve had has commented on how comfortable & spacious it is, with plenty of leg room. The back storage area is quite expansive to begin with, but especially when the 3-seat split back seats are flipped down - easy to do with one lever on each side. And “Toyota Reliability” is REAL! Within our large family, we’ve owned about 15 Toyotas and have never needed any major repairs! Totota stopped making the 1st generation Venzas in 2015 & then reintroduced a 2nd generation Venza Hybrid model in 2020 - a few inches shorter in both length and width -a bad move on Toyota’s part. After sitting in a 2020 model, I decided to keep my old, spacious interior, AWD 6cyl. Venza with its real leather interior - the 2020+ models no longer option leather interiors! Sadly, in 2024, Toyota has yet again discontinued the Venza. Hopefully Toyota will regret the error of their ways & bring back a 3rd generation Venza, as wide & long as the 2015 too!
Ain’t a bad thing I can say about this vehicle. The sound system is amazing and the v6 engine has tons of power. The seats are super comfortable and it has tons of space for people over 6ft tall in the back seat with one sitting in front of you. If it had a 3rd row it would literally imo be one of if not the absolute best SUV made under $75k. U can easily get 25-30 years of pleasurable driving experiences out of it if you just don’t dig it and and you change the oil and air filters. Also it’s only $35 to get a full tank from empty and about 350-400 miles on it. The ride quality is super comfortable and handles bumps and uneven roads really well especially compared to other similar vehicles like my in-laws ford flex. I highly recommend buying one if your in the market for a awesome all around stylish and reliable and comfortable affordable all in one that’s over 10 years old and under $20k

Have 300,000 plus miles on it. Rides well...can't beat it.
Comfort, driveability, size, performance, cost to maintain, dependability.
22 miles to the gallon with the V6 engine.
Love this car! I have the limited edition AWD V6, amazing interior, driveability, and dependable. Cheap to fix and maintain overall. The only downside is the mpg is around 22mpg.
Reliable, Safe, Affordable
Tires can be pricey, shop around
I bought our Venza limited used for $10,000 with 162000 miles on it. I used to drive a 2002 Ford Explorer Limited. I almost never used the third row seat. I liked it for the room, not for the gas mileage and multiple repairs wheel bearing, shocks etc. I bought this Venza because the reliability 8/10 as opposed to Subaru 6/10. It's roomy, easy to load from the back. The JBL stereo speakers really sound good, especially with satellite radio. I get between 22 and 24 mpg. The navigation and hands free radio work well. My wife likes the parking assist and back up camera with the guide lines for parking. I also like the Zennon adaptive headlamps witch turn on the high beam headlamp automatically when driving in dark roads and turn off when senses on coming vehicles. The V6 has the same engine as the Lexus RX350, highlander, Rav4 And Avalon. Very Reliable. Make sure to check when if and when water pump was changed as well as the spark plugs. There was an update on the water pump. It used to problem in the past according to the dealer. Check out the car care nut YouTube videos on best Toyota to buy. He doesn't mention the Venza but, he does talk about the V6 engine it has, the 2grfe engine. Scotty Kilmer did a video on the Venza.
Comfort, reliability and handling.

I have had my Venza for about 1 year now and this car is one of the best cars I have ever owned. I have owned infiniti and acuras before and this is by far the best of all. If you are looking for a reliable, comfortable car this is the one for you. Road noise is about normal for a car of its class. Ride and Handling are amazing, and comfort is the best when it comes to long trips. We went on a road trip last week and there was a lot of snow and the road, and this car did amazing i really felt confident driving it in bad weather conditions. Overall, an amazing vehicle if you get the limited v6 AWD.
value, roominess, price.

The older model Venza is a great car for families or couples. We have used it for moving, travel, daily driver, and trips to the home improvement stores. It has a very comfortable ride and descent gas mileage for the size car. It is not a very fashionable car, but extremely dependable. My husband and I bought two of them as used vehicles and have not regretted it.
