I bought a brand new 2022 Toyota tundra, SR5, crew max 2wd. Within the first dozen miles or so the engine light came on. I took the truck into the dealership near my house, which was a different dealership than I bought the truck at. They told me that I needed to take the truck back where I bought it. So I immediately drove to that dealership in the suburbs. They told me that there was no master mechanic available and to bring it back. I was so frustrated after being told by the service department that they rushed these trucks out “too soon” and that they were having a lot of mechanical problems. I don’t remember the last time I felt so deflated. I drove the truck a few more weeks with the engine light on because in my view, I had already taken it to two Toyota dealerships, who were an available or unwilling to fix the issue. So I got a call one day from Toyota saying hey, there’s a warning light on your car can you bring it in. So I did and I did not see the truck again for about a month and a half. The truck had to have both of its twin, turbo chargers replaced. Obviously this was a huge inconvenience but the problems did not end there. Upon leaving the service department the engine light came on again. I just continue to drive it through frustration and the light eventually went out. They soon realized that the infotainment system was broken. During this time I continued to get notifications of other issues. Within a week the engine light was back on. At that point, I started the lemon process. I was forced to buy a new truck, of course at a higher interest-rate because I had just been approved for this truck and no longer qualified for the preferential rates of the top-tier. So I stopped driving the tundra because I did not want it damaged for purposes of doing the lemon law buyback. One day I did decide to drive it and when I went to return to the house, there was a loud high-pitched alarm that I could not get turned off. I believe it was related to the airbag system. Toyota came and picked up the truck at my house and took it to the dealership. I did not get any response back from them the entire time that it was there, which was about two weeks. And the buyback, luckily occurred while the truck was still in the service department. This was such a negative experience. I am haunted by it, and the inconvenience and sheer stress cannot be understated.

Remote connection is low quality service for the price.
This is one of the best trucks on the road. The twin turbo gives you the juice needed to pass with confidence. The Lunar Rock color is premium and I have one of the few two tone trucks in US. 7 years Tundra emergency call and service package. Catalytic converter protector. trd pro undercarriage cover As well. The person that put this package together for 65k in 2022 blessed me. 😀
Power, performance, comfortable, driveability, much more
squeaky brakes in the morning but goes away, typical Toyota brakes so not shocked.
Just another Toyota quality built vehicle! No vehicle is perfect, but this one comes real close. Very good quality inside and out. Plenty of power and very comfortable on long rides. I've been real happy with it since day one.

2025 platinum iForceMax hybrid has all the bells and whistles providing a Lexus luxury ride in a full size, more than capable truck. Mpg has been above 20 for highway and city. Plenty of power. No issues problems or defects. Toyota is back to the level of quality it’s been renowned for, for decades. Would recommend.
Great truck! Smooth ride, nice interior. Aggressive looks. Best truck I have owned. I have owned Ford, Chevy and Ram (Ram would be second place after Toyota)
I'm overall very happy with my 2022 Tundra TDR Pro. One thing I really enjoy is the select switch for engine performance. Using the sport mode turns out into a very responsive truck. The rumble from the engine sure doesn't sound like a V6.
Truck was plagued with problems from the beginning and spent more time in the dealership in the first year than my previous 10 vehicles combined. The Dealerships take forever to make repairs and corporate doesn't care about approving repairs. Used to be a loyal toyota fan but now I say stay away from Toyota! This truck was the worse purchase I've ever made.

Best vehicle I have ever owned. Had a 2017 Tacoma sport before this, loved it. Upgraded to the 24 tundra for more room and power. Drives smooth. Interior is plush. 10k miles in and no problems at all. Truck is a dream to drive and the family loves to take it on road trips. An upgrade on every level: interior, power, tech.
2024 limited TRD off road pkg. have been a dedciated GMC truck guy for last 15 years after being a Toyota guy. I get new trucks every 2-3 years and when the new Tundra body style came out, I was sure I would switch when it came time for a new truck in 2024. The look, the panoramic roof and of course the only rear window like it on the market. Was a little leary of them getting rid of the v8. The advertised MPG 17/22 seemed like a good reason for this, but is not possible. I cannot get above 15.6 mpg, and thats doing 60mph on a straight hwy in the middle of nowhere. Avergaed 11mpg at 74 mph for a 4 hour drive last week. Insane, the only mod is tires (Same size, just a bit better tread). Routinely got above 20 in my GMC at hwy speed. Average abut 13.7 in city. The truck handles well. WIth the offroad suspension it does what it should. There are too many sensors. the truck violently stops when backing within 3 feet of an object. The Cruise cannot be used without the sensor slowing you down if you have a car within 30 feet. The touchscreen is awesome in size, but there is little utility. AC is meh. autostart turns off when you unlock the door. Unlike GMC, there are no corner steps to get in the truck when you have the tailgate down-not well thought out. Does not offer leather, hard plastic interior is a let down at this price point. Trading it in and losing $6000 to go back to GMC.
