Positive Review
Seriously. I got this car about a year and a half ago, and I've put about 100,000 miles on it in that time. Not one problem. Just change the oil when you need to, and keep your fluids full and your filters clean, you'll be good to go. This little car is amazing. I even named him, he's so cool. His name is Gus. I mean, if you want a car that gets pretty good (It's listed as 34mpg, but I've gotten better. 36-39, consistantly.) gas mileage, excellant reliability, enough storage space to fit a whole drumset, a guitar and guitar amp, a cooler, two 18'ers of Henrys, 2 lawnchairs, 3 people with all their junk and a cat, then this is the car for you... As long as you don't wanna accelerate past 65-70 mph. The car is zippy but by no means fast. I'd recomend it; It's a rad little machine.

1993 TOYOTA TERCEL DX NICE LITTLE CAR
It was a great price!
Needs a CD player but radio still works!
I have owned my auto for 21 years and have loved it so much! I use the best gas and synthetic oil and it runs great. I have the receipts for all the parts and oil changes over the years. I have enjoyed owning it and the miles per gallon is great! I would buy another Toyota if I could afford it as I am retired now and will probably keep the car until it dies!
Great gas mileage, low low maintence.
take awhile to get up to speed on the highways....
Got this cart about ten years ago with a broken timing belt for 500.00 and 95,000 miles. I fixed the belt gave it a tune up. Used this car as my work car and grocery getter. With regular maintence this car never let me down. Always starts right up. It just starting to show its 23 yrs. Little rust right rear quarter and weak paint on the hood and roof.A/C needs a charge about every two years now. The engine itself NEVER been apart and it never had any work on the fuel injection.Tranny never apart. 171,000 and running great. I live in the northeast USA (rustbelt)the car alway been parked outside and I said its just starting to show its age. One tough little car.
Very economical to drive.
Only two doors on mine
Runs great. I'm on a rebuilt motor, had to rebuild at 154,000 miles. I have converted it to run on CNG and gas, it gets 40 MPG on either. Paint still OK, doesn't chip like new models. Original clutch. Nice commuter car. Feels like I'm stealing from someone every time I fill up. Really good feeling.
Great price, Great gas mileage, fun to drive.
none
I rode in this car and I found it quite good. Great gas mileage and simple to operate. Fun to drive. It is much better than my pick-up. Highly recommended!

leaking engine oil...
great price, fun to drive, goes where you put it,
There are none.
I purchased this car in white. I have been the only owner and the only driver all these years. I have replaced parts and made upgrades to keep it as reliable as it was when I first bought it. I have driven other cars, but have never found the overall practical, handsome and reliable Tercel to be surpassed by another style. A very negligent driver recently ran a light at excessive speed and struck the driver's side. My little Toyota saved my life. Insurance adjuster for the party at fault insisted on totaling it, even with engine and transmission and other valuable parts not affected. I just find myself wanting to bring it back to life, and help it to get back home with me. It has been with me through so much for so many years. I'm afraid I will never find another one. I wish they would find me a replacement. I am lucky to be alive, and I am thankful to be. I just find that I'm grieving for the loss of my car more than people can understand. This car is the best. If you have one, be thankful.
Runs,Clutch is smooth, new tires, good first car
has knocking noise, bad paint job
I have a 1993 Toyota Tercel i am trying to get rid of. Has a knocking noise under the hood don't have any clue what it could be, It Gains speed and runs not efficiently but runs and just looking to get rid of it.
