"Greatest Vehicle Ever Made"

The JZA80 Supra is the greatest car ever made by any car manufacturer in the world. It's Twin Turbocharged 2JZ-GTE Engine was reliable to 300,000+ Miles and could put down more than a 1000 Horsepower with bolt on parts. It is simply one of the most genius engineering feats by humankind.

The Supra is Toyota's Flagship for a Reason
Pros

This is the pinnacle of Japanese sportscar quality

Cons

You will hear, "Is that a Supra? All day every day

I've had my '95 NA Supra for 22 years now and I still love it just as much now as I did 20 years ago. She's been my daily driver for the last two decades and has given me no major problems. Granted after 20 years and 200k miles daily of highway driving, mother nature and father time have not been kind to the rubber bushings and paint. However, mechanically it has been solid. Just like many of the other reviews stated, if you are in the market for one of these classic beauties you probably know how to turn a wrench and can rebuild/upgrade everything on it. If you have the opportunity to pick up a '93-98 MKIV in good condition, jump on it.

I owned a Terracotta 82, Midnight Blue 83 and 96 B
Pros

Best Car ever in so many ways.

Cons

Let me give this some thought? 1 week later... No

Bought in 1999 47k miles. Swapped the auto out in 2012 for 1 of the 3 last 6 speed Getraggs! That was a $8500 total swap. Built the engine up to 750 rwh at same time. Currently doing a full color change to 5 layers of paint. First is stock black, 2nd is clear with Royal Blue Pearl ( not heavy ). And 3 coats uv clear. Best quality paints! Sun hits it it's deep royal blue FLOP. Hint of purple. Strait on and at night is Black. All glass was removed . Entire car painted other than engine bay lower areas. Has 98 front and tail lights. Glass euro headlights. Gonna redo seats. At 257K car has NEVER broken down. Most fun car ever and driven some expensive stuff in my days. "Every" day I drive it people take pics or video. That gets a little annoying when your in a hurry.

Rare,reliable,robust,rebuildable,red,rocketship!
Pros

Daily driver par excellance', worth rebuilding

Cons

good examples, very rare today

A complete redesign from all former Supras where Toyota was targeting for a 'world class" sports car. Quite a feat for the design team to get this car past the "bean counters" at Toyota as this car is so completely overbuilt. Rare indeed for any production engine in which you could triple the factory h.p. (320) on the stock internals with a decent confidence factor. Most of the systems on this car deserve high praise for both performance and longevity. In virtually all of the performance comparisons in its day this car scored high to very high in all categories. In one major auto magazine it held the record for many years in braking 60-0 @109 ft. It was a very pleasant surprise to early buyers who held onto the car how robust it was throughout the entire powertrain. A couple of years ago while I was getting gas a couple of kids pulled up in their Hondas. As they were getting out one kid said "oh my God a 2JZ-GTE". Then they all started bowing while chanting "we're not worthy, we're not worthy". I still crack-up about this generous homage!
