Positive Review
I bought my 2000 Solara used with 113,000 miles on it. I have replaced the shocks, front tie rods, water pump and thermostat (preventative), and the cam cover gaskets. I can't think of anything else beyond plugs, oil, filters, brake pads, battery, and timing belt maintenance. Original parts include the starter, AC, automatic transmission, exhaust system, and the engine itself. The interior is leather and has also worn very well. I change my own oil and estimate it may burn 1/2 quart between 6,000 mile oil changes. I'm shooting for 400,000 miles.
Critical Review
I got this car a couple years ago. It really not what I thought it be. Motor wise I love it. However its a nightmare to get in and out of on.a regular base. Also passages has no headroom in back seat. Plus Insurance is higher than the Honda I own. Another draw back is that this car loves the gas. Even after a full tuneup it only have me about 17 to a gallon. Really unhappy with it.

I have a 1999 toyota solara when I first got it only 94000 miles in 2022 thats crazy but its was a grandma's car so it wasn't driven that much now it has 106285 miles on it love this car all leather interior a nice 3.0 V6 SLE model just a nice car sporty handles good yeah it only puts out 200 hp but my last daily drive was a 1997 honda accord vaule package model which only had 130 hp so not bad of an improvement and my solara all black hard top look nice and clean if you find one buy it you will be very happy with it.
Sleek Styling, Extremely Reliable, Comfortable
Cushy ride, powerful enough but basically a Camry
We've owned this car since new. It has been incredibly reliable and lived up to its reputation in every way over its 146k miles. It has been well maintained and serviced over its life. Garage kept. Only now is it beginning to feel its age with some needed replacement parts. But, I would still trust this car to take us anywhere. With continued maintenance it could easily get another 100K miles if not more. One of Toyota's best.
Fun to drive
Don't like the color
The car runs good and has always been dependable I would recommend this car to a young person who is learning to drive it is safe and sporty

I have 2003 Toyota solara sle 6v, 2nd owner I've had the car for ten years now. It's dependable, I still love this car ten years later. If you find one buy it.
EVERYTHING!!!
They stopped making them and not much around
I USED to have a 2001 Toyota Solara, Unfortunately I got into an accident, had it for 3 months and it was in perfect condition until someone smashed into me and totaled my car...It had 189,000 miles, still very young...sad to see it go. But it was amazing for my first car. I tried looking for another vehicle but there weren't many around...I wish they'd kept making these kind of cars because especially the automatic one is very reliable
