"Top Rated Truck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I laughed at sales person when I bought it new off the floor when she told me it would go 250,000+ with no major repairs !!................now I'm the one laughing !!! because she was right on !! Could not ask for a better quality truck,Have never owned a vehicle this long with this mileage on engine. My 2 daughters each have Corollas that I bought new for them and they are each over 170,000 with no issues also. I'm a real believer in the Toyota products !!!!!

VS

Critical Review

"Headache from the beginning"

Since I purchased the vehicle in 2003, it has been problems with the trans, heated seats, rear power window from back of vehicle, brakes, a recall and the Vehicle Skid Control System. The V.S.C. system has yet been repaired by dealer and this has been an ongoing issue for over a year. The 2 computers and all sensors have been changed and the dealer can't fixed the problem. It practically lives at the dealer. I've complained to Toyota Customer Service in California and the dealer now continues to try to fix the problem. 2 sets of brakes have been changed as a result of the VSC system. One set in October 2006 and again in August 2007 after 7,000 miles. Too much money for the car, too many headaches, not dependable and it still has not been repaired properly. Financially draining me and lucky for me that I had purchased an extended warranty but it doesn't cover everything. Do not recommend purchasing this car.

400000+ miles
Pros

Perfect SUV

Cons

None. Zero

I purchased my 2002 Sequoia SR5 brand new in 2002 for $34000. It has been incredibly reliable. I have driven it for 400000 + miles and spend about $7000 in repair. I am keeping it and planning to buy a new one this year. I LOVE SEQUOIA ❤️

2002 Toyota Sequoia

In excellent condition. Less than 100,000 miles. Owned by father-in-law who purchased new and kept excellent care of it. Upon his death, it was given to us.

Great suv !!
Pros

They run forever

this SUV is solid! I have an 02 also that I purchased new in 02.....has 428,000 on it and still looks and runs fantastic. The 07 I bought for my wife has 202,000 on it and we have had no issues at all for the 2 years we have owned it. Well-built and designed large spacious SUV for all your needs. People can't believe there are 428,000 on the 02. A great accomplishment for a gasoline engine!!

Best large SUV ever! So comfy!
Pros

Value, comfort and reliability

Cons

Rear airbag suspension one time maintenance

Love just about everything about this vehicle. Reliable, smooth and doesn’t drive like a large SUV. Only issues so far have been the typical rust on rear door wells and air suspension needing new bags after 16 years. Plenty of room, but very cozy and hauls everything and tows great! So excited to find an 06 Limited last year with 135k miles. We will have this vehicle for ever!

2007 Sequoia Limited

Drives like new and fun to drive at 204,000 miles. Ultra reliable. Tons of room. Mileage is typical 14-19 mpg for a full size V8 suv. Some people drive them 1/2 million to over 1 million miles ! Has some small rust issues but for the age is not a surprise. Check the rear window, some of them get stuck or no longer work.
