What Owners are Saying About the 1992 Toyota Paseo
"Greatest Used Car ever in today's crazy gas prices"
"This is certainly one great used car for a daily driver. Fast, small, 4 star crash ratings. I wonder why Toyota don't make any more of these. Then again, their margin would be compromised. Bet they rather sell they hybrids instead.
My paseo gets almost 40mpg and that almost matches the best hybrid by couple of mpg.
Maintenance costs are almost non-existent and in fact, all my gas monies saved have gone into buying seat covers, cleaning stuff just to pamper it a bit more.
My co-workers and I got different Daily drivers cars and they probably spent more monies in repairs than what I paid for my Paseo.
All in all, Great car just need to do oil changes every 3500 miles as per the owners manual. What more could I ask!!!
Highly recommended and the biggest plus - the car shape still looks very modern."
"really nice car"
"for what the car was made for its the best by far. i use it as my DD and after modding the car out a bit to get better gas mileage i think its toped out :)
in 101 miles on highway only the car only took 2.2 gallons of gas wich in turn is like 48 mpg..... that is y i drive a import
car turns really really well, u can make a u turn on half of a 1 lane road
i change oil and filters out as recommened and the car has always started when i wanted it to and has NEVER broken down or anything has broken on it.
it has saved me so much money driveing it.
it is really fun to drive and i never baby the car always hot rod it, and for it to still get that good of milage and everything at 150,000 miles is just crazy"
"Awesome, cheap, reliable car"
"I bought this car from a mechanic with 140,000 miles. So far I have had to replace the alternator and that's it. It runs absolutely amazing and gets excellent gas mileage. I average about 37 miles in town and near 40 mpg on the highway. The car currently has 190000 miles on it and still runs flawless. I frequently drive it 1000+ miles to CA and UT and it has always been reliable.
The back seat is small, but that is okay since I rarely have occupants in the back. My AC was not working when I got the car and I could never get it fixed so I just put in a sunroof for a little more air flow.
Overall this car is an EXCELLENT value and very reliable considering the mileage. I would recommend this car to anybody who needs an economic commuter car or is looking for a reliable first car."
