What Owners are Saying About the 1992 Toyota MR2
"I think I love this car..."
"I am 6 foot about 280, and i fit just fine. I have had some issues with mine, but a kid must have owned it before me (a rather large rock must have gone through the sheilding in front of the passanger tire). I took it to the shop and had many things fixed, including the tranmission and gears. So beware the price on fixing this car is up there, but I have owned Toyotas before so I knew it wasn't the cars fault. I also had the work done at Toyota because they had someone I trusted work on it. Tires, yes, big deal, just rotate every 5k and toss at 15k. I have thought of selling it many times, but after a quick wash, wipe of the dash, and touch ups, I fall right back in love with it and can't even think about parting with it. It also has 6 speakers spots. I replaced all of them, tossed a nice amp under the hood, custom built 2 '10inch boxes for behind the seats (8 total speakers now) and tossed a changer in the back. Needless to say the car rocks...on many aspects. I take it to Costco. No, big rolls of TP wont' fit in the trunk, but you can get a normal size load in it without fighting it, and if you don't have a passenger. Don't be fooled by the look of this car, it has room under the hood, and a nice size trunk, for it's size. Last note: this is a cheap car for all you get. humm...'91 almost a classic! I even saw this the other day on MSN under an article about "Cars We Miss" theres a reason for that. No bubbly headlights!"
