Positive Review
About 6 months ago I got fed up and traded in my 08 Cadillac Escalade for the Land Cruiser as I was tired of the "little" problems that I kept having with the Cadillac. WOW the Land Cruiser doesn't disappoint, the interior fit and finish is light years better then the Escalades, I have yet to have any problem with the LC, whereas the Escalade was back to the dealer in the first 6 months several times from tire pressure sensors going out to broken door handles. The LC is EXPENSIVE, but after driving one, I wouldn't own anything other the a LC again.
Critical Review
This is the worst car I have ever owned. I have spent too much money fixing weird problems. The radio system went out just under the warranty. It cost $2000 to buy a rebuilt system, the windshield replacement was $1500, and the back door sensor malfunctioned leading to an insanely terrible emergency signal inside the car that will not shut off. Have not fixed the sensor yet and Toyota is too busy to get me in. Great!!! I am done with Toyota and anything Toyota related. Toyota Land Cruiser is a subpar product. Don't waste your money.

Everything
BIG/ Small Fuel Tank
My 2018 Toyota Land cruiser replaced my 2007 Lexus LX 470. NOTHING CAN REPLACE THE 470. Perfect size, fast, beautiful and classic lines. At 240K, She developed a front end dysfunction, I couldn't accept. . This Land Cruiser is BIG. Since I ve had Sequoia's , I can negotiate her size. Fuel economy is poor , but noticably so, as the tank is small. Technology is good but The best feature is this truck has everything you need to cruise in comfort. Tows my 23 regulator like a champ, and that boat is an obese creature. Family trips to the mountain with 8, although tight, is beautiful thing. At 60 K, I m looking forward to keeping this truck to at least 300K. Value is not having to drop your truck for service 3-4 x s a year as my Suburbans did. I tried and was let down .
Great value for the money
Cargo space when third row seats are down
This vehicle is amazingly solid and quiet! It hugs both paved and unpaved roads with grace and ease. Its versatility, performance, reliability and durability is mind blowing. To top it all, the maintenance cost is so insignificant.
It isn’t broken, so it hasn’t been fixed: The 2015 Toyota Land Cruiser SUV rolls along with no changes. the best ever
An unbelievably solid vehicle. I love driving this in the Michigan winters. Very reliable and built like a tank. I will be driving this until they stop selling gas.
Indestructible
Terrible gas mileage, aging tech, front sets stiff
As I write this review, I am sad, because my Land Cruiser sits in the body shop. For no good reason, I ran it into a solid cement pole going about 10 mph. I wish this was not true. The bumper, grille, and hood need to be replaced. The car drives like nothing ever happened. Lol. People think these are regular cars. They are not. These are tanks.
So many pros. Once you see one you’ll understand.
Gas mileage
Best SUV I’ve ever owned. This car is a beast, you can drive it over curbs, in the water and set doesn’t flinch. I feel safe in it and the visability is great. It is definitely an attention getter. You don’t see many of these cars on the road. My understanding is they were only 2400 allowed per year. I feel lucky that I even found one, and even luckier that I get to own it.
Fun to drive, low mileage, services been done and
It a stick and I can't drive one very well so need
I have a hard time driving a stick.that why I'm going to sale it . It a great ride and nice vehicle to own.
Can't begin to list all Pros
A bit prone to rust. Gas guzzlers, of course.
I've owned three Land Cruisers and, to the extent that I can continue to afford them, I'll never drive anything else. Where to begin...? Iconic, classic, enduring, performance, luxury, capability, etc., etc. Some may think that LCs aren't worth the money. They ARE very expensive vehicles but hold their value and last forever. I live in MA and the winters are brutal. I remember driving in the aftermath of a snowstorm that dumped over two feet of snow in my area. I was on the highway, stuck in traffic, and EASILY drove over a 3.5' high packed snowbank to maneuver off the highway. These are beasts, in the best way possible. Also, the split back gate is such a plus in terms of camping, getting into ski gear, etc. CRUSHERS RULE!
