Positive Review
How do you say goodbye to a vehicle that kept your entire family safe, comfortable, and happy for nearly 20 years, and 330,000mi's,? When your son drove off the edge of that mountain road; when it got hit from behind by a vehicle that was totaled (and all the LC needed was a new back bumper); that never required any maintenance other than routine oil changes, timing belts, etc.; that drove better in deep snow on dirt tracks than most vehicles drive on dry pavement; that let me hear every dang word of every one of my wife's cell conversations because it is so dang quiet inside; that pulled a 4-WD pick-up out of a snow ditch that itself was pulling a flat-bed trailer loaded with two snowmobiles; that trailered a heavy, 22', triple-coated, stern-drive Sea Ray to the lake countless times without so much as a whimper. How? You go to the dealer, buy a brand new, loaded Highlander, hate it so much that less than a year later you go back to the dealer and trade-in your mistake for a new LC. That's how. Knowing that your mistake cost you a lot of $$, but having the peace of mind that you will once again own the very best vehicle money can buy. Knowing that it will probably outlast your ability to get your license renewed. And while you're at the dealership you quietly keep looking around to see if the old beast is still on the lot, or at least hoping that it found a good home.
Critical Review
Love love it even after 11 years. Smaller family so don't really need the space but still hate to sell. We will see

Smooth and powerful very reliable classic style go anywhere anytime safe on wet roads 4wheel is standard leather seats very solid on sketchy roads Toyota quality throughout
I was always a leaser , three years done, I bought this car in 2005, I have had it now almost 20 years , 140,000 miles.. and in perfect condition. It is THE most comfortable, reliable, secure car ever.. I cannot seem to part with it,ive looked so many times but cannot find anything I like better. I have literally spent NO money on this car in 20 years except basic maintenance and a few little things. Cant say enough and SO luxurious. ..
Fun to drive and people asking about it
Power steering hoses need to be replaced
Bought the land cruiser two years ago. With 364,000 miles. It had the oil changed ever 3000 miles. Timing pulley and belt, water pump, oil pump and New radiator. All new hoses. I look to get many more miles out of it.
Extra seats great for extended family.
So expensive!
Have owned Land Cruisers for many years. Love the look, power, and comfort. Feels safe and secure too.
Fun to drive everywhere
Price
Best for combined on/off road driving providing you can afford the price of gas. Good for towing as well.
Reliable, safe and strong
Doesn't have latest bluetooth technology.
This vehicle is the opposite of a lemon. I have spent so little money on repairs and it is a joy to own. I never "covet" another car and could not bear to part with this one. Tires last over 60,000 miles. It tows famously. If you ever have a chance to buy one, don't hesitate.
Exceptional engineering, performance, reliability
Low MPG
This LandCruiser is the best engineered and most reliable and dependable car I have ever owned. It has the best four wheel drive system available. It has great off-road capabilities, but it also excels on the highway with its extraordinarily smooth, quiet and powerful ride.
Quiet, great ride, reliabile, off-road chops.
Mileage.
