"Trading this car in ASAP"

These seats are not comfortable. Long distance driving in this car, no way.. Gas mileage is okay, but as for this car being reliable, no way again. Engine makes ticking sounds. Service department says it's normal. It's embarrassing!

What are the haters smoking?
Pros

Nimble, fun, inexpensive, well styled

Cons

Road Noise

If you are looking for a small Scat Pack or Corvette, this is not the car for you. This car is for people that want a balanced driving experience. It handles very well, and is quick, not fast. The interior is pretty minimalist and I find the seat comfortable. It looks good on the inside but it is not a luxury car. If there is one thing I am not totally happy about is the amount of road noise that comes from the rear of the car, which is remedied through adding some Dynamat to the trunk. Complaints about the ticking noise is from the direct injection fuel pump. Do I wish it had more power, yes I do, but Toyota has the more expensive Supra for that. Fuel economy is good for a sports car, certainly better than the Challenger Scat Pack I traded in. This car shines on mountain roads. it is nimble and fun, much like the Mazda Miata or the Honda S2000. the other thing of note is the rear seats are useless for carrying passengers but my dogs don't seem to mind even after a 3 hour ride.

Best Bang for the Bucks
Pros

Styling, Comfort, and Value

Cons

Trunk is small, Need All-Season or Winters in Cold

Looks good, love turns, torque is a noticeable difference from last gen. I cant find anything bad about this platform to be honest. I've owned and drove several MT cars in the past in this is one of the most engaging platforms out there. I dont understand why this car isn't more popular but good thing it isnt since I can be the only one in my city with this stylish automobile. Hats off to Toyota and Subaru for building this delightful machine.

Just plain fun!

I grew up driving 4 speed rear wheel drive cars. Unfortunately they are hard to find these days. The Toyota GR86 brings back memories and is a blast to drive!

Just a Fun Car

I love this car. It's fun no matter where you drive it - to the grocery store, a mountain road or the track. It gets tons of looks and people asking what it is. Zero regrets buying it.

Not fun at all
Pros

No

Cons

Engine, transmission, Valves ticking

This car has a nice body style, but no performance horsepower. This car is not Toyota.. It's all Subaru everything. Plastic trim pieces crackling sounds. No sun roof, parking sensors etc. Cheap car's that are overpriced. Cricket sounds from engine.
