Positive Review
I bought a used '94 Celica ST on Craigslist for $600.00 with over 336,000 on it. I am still driving it and fully restored it. I will NEVER sell my 94 Celica. If anything, I will buy another one. This is the BEST Car Toyota ever produced in my opinion. Runs like a "CLOCK"!
Critical Review
This Toyota Celica GT Hatchback seems to be unusual in that everyone wants to buy it from me....I get signs stuck under the wiper blades in supermarket parking lots and other places offering me a good price. Its a one owner car, white with air foil on trunk lid...why so valuable?

The best car ever
None
This car tickets a smooth comfortable, low as cost ride and keep a on ticking. Loves it and highly recommended! I wish they would bring back this car series stain. Mine has almost 200,000 miles.
Fun, easy to drive, several looks from others
low power, window issue, not made for tall people
It's a fun small car. It's light and even though it's down on power it still is able to transfer the power quickly and get it moving. It's not insanely fast in any way but that doesn't mean it feels slow. Because of how small and low it is, it feels like you're going faster than you really are. You also get looks from just about anyone who's somewhat into cars. Depending on where you live, it's a rare car, especially if it's in good condition. It always starts and it always gets me where i want to go and it's jsut fun to drive. Definitely a perfect first car. It's small, so it's fun and easy to drive, it's got just enough power to have fun, and same with handling, and it's a convertible, it's also cheap to maintain, great first car for anyone or even anyone who likes cars, it's just a fun car to have. The only issues i've had with it was jsut simple gaskets and brakes, little things that almost always wear out. The paint has held up better than cars that are 10 years newer. My parents nissans made it to about 100,000 miles and the transmissions were going out and things were tearing and falling apart, the celica, which was 12 years older, was in perfect working condition, even now, it still runs better with 40,000 more miles than those cars had. They're made very well, if you want a car that'll last forever and is fun to drive, this is the car you want. Now it's no miata, but this is just a more practical miata, if toyota put the 3sgte in this celica, it could've had a ton of popularity, but the car's perfect with what it has, it just would've had more sports car vibes with a bigger engine, but i still consider it a sports car based on how well it handles. I put a short ram intake on it and it sounds amazing and car guys that i know like it, it's just a unique little car that people have forgotten about, i think the celica is the most underrated sports car out there, especially the old ones. But anyways, i love my celica, its fun and easy to drive and everyone asks what it is and it's just a good conversation starter. It's reliable, fun, and unique, a great car.
Head turner, gas mileage
Almost impossible to get parts
If you buy a celica from this gen, there is NO aftermarket support. Pair that with the fact that almost every part has been discontinued, basic maintenance is a terrible time. That being said the car is fun, and a head turner!
Convertible fun, reliable, great style.
Looks a lot faster than it is :)
Got this as a retirement treat and have no regrets. Car looks great & rock solid Toyota reliable. The 1995 is now 27 years old and still runs like new - have had it for three years now and drive it daily except when salt is on the road. Love this body style. Hugs the road, comfortable seats, great sound system. Has some wind noise at higher speed due to the convertible top. Goes really fast....downhill :) Would have liked to get a stick shift but not that many 1995 Celica convertibles still available now days.

Its a Toyota
Lacks power, 120hp
Reliable, good gas mileage, well designed lYout thats easy to work on, lots of options to customize. Iron block with DOHC, McPherson struts, the automatic has atf and oil cooler, also push button overdrive dont forget the bucket seats! Very light car the heavier ones were 2500 to 2700 lbs. Mine is right around 2400 with me in it.
