What Owners are Saying About the 2005 Toyota Camry

"Old Reliable"

"I bought mine new. In 15 years these are the major issues I had with the car: Around 140,000 miles multiple light bulbs, front, back, license plate etc. went bad and its alternator burnt out (repair cost $150) At 200,000 engine valve gasket was replaced (repair cost $300) At 208,000 miles starter had to be changed (repair cost $400) I took meticulous notes of repairs and maintenance. The total cost including changing various oils and filters, batteries, tires, rotations, light bulbs, and even inspections and registration across 4 states in 15 years was around $10,300. Majority of maintenance was done by full-priced mechanics. Granted it never was an exciting car, could have had better handling and power, but rarely did it strand me (once, when starter went bad)"

"Great Car"

"This has been a great car. The only problems I have had were a catalytic convertor burn out that was covered by warranty, and the speaker covers in the back rotted in the sun. Minor issues. Comfortabe, reliable care"

"Awesome reliability!"

"My second Camry (2006) just hit 300,000 miles:) It still runs great. I was so impressed w my first one (2000) there was no question what I would buy next. My 2000 had 280,000 miles when I quite driving it. It still ran great. Rust was the problem. Highly recommend as I’m now looking for my third one. I just wanted to hit the 300,000 mark first ;)"
