What Owners are Saying About the 2002 Toyota Avalon

"An am amazing car that is underappreciated"

"When most people think of buying Toyota sedans they go straight to a Corolla or Camry but there is a little gem that is tops them both. The 2nd Gen Toyota Avalon is an underdog that most people don't know exist but those who do and those who drive them know that this affordable entry level luxury car is worth every dime you purchase it for. I got my Avalon in the April of 2019 at 193,000 Miles with two rear endings and bad tires I feel in love with it instantly and never want to sell it. It rides smooth and reminds me of later Cadillac DeVilles in the suspension. I cant help but to want to floor it from time to time and it loves it and quickly gets power and the wheels as if its duty as to deliver you an enjoyable aspect in every category of driving. Though it does steer like a boat and scares me going in corners at high speed it is still a trustworthy drive. Seven months after receiving this car with it being stolen and retrieved but not without being rear ending making the new total of 3 and a odometer reading that is now at 199,994 miles and after 3 months of my car back I can still say that I love this car and it is one of my first recommended cars to anyone wanting a nice comfortable and enjoyable ride."

"240,000 miles of comfort"

"I bought my car new in 2001 looking for a more comfortable car for business trips. I have continued to be impressed year after year. With a kenwood touchscreen receiver update every 5 years or so the digital technology stays up to date and the car does the rest. My car has a front bench letting my family of six squeeze in if our other vehicle is at the shop. I have had to pay for expected repairs on almost everything but the engine and transmission keep going. I will probably just replace the engine it it goes out. Soft heated leather seats are comfortable on long drives. Expected soft Toyota handling. I get 25-30 mpg. The styling seems to hold its own since it was never cutting edge but with new headlight replacements and dent free paint a few people have thought I bought a new car."

"The Avalon is one of the best cars I have ever own"

"I have had an Avalon since 1995. I have always purchased a lease trade back in from the dealer. Always around 45,000 to 50,000 miles and at that age is like buying a new car. The Avalon is not what a youngster would buy, so usually an older person who would take car of the vehicle is the type of buyer for this great vehicle. I just found a 2008 Avalon Limited ( the top of the line) with 6,900 miles on the odometer.......fabulous find, and I love it. It rides as good as a Lexus or any Benz. If you like a bigger luxury type car with 29 miles to the gallon.......get one today. You won't be sorry if the one you get was cared for by the previous owner or a Toyota Certified Dealer."
