What Owners are Saying About the 1996 Toyota Avalon

"Overall an amazingly designed vehicle."

"Its not a Lexus but it sure feels like it, which makes sense because its designs and mechanics are very similar if not exact. For its price, the consumer is getting outstanding reliability, great fuel efficiency (considering the size of the family car, and size of the engine), a comfortable smooth ride, in a classy spacious interior, equipped with an award winning engine. It's outdoor appearance it's deceiving, but the xls provides a leather, wood trim, and electrical everything including a moonroof which comes in handy every time."

"Best car I have ever owned"

"I bought this car used in 2005 with 87,000 miles on it and have have run the mileage up to 205,000 with no major problems. I've driven it from Los Angeles to Toronto and back and it ran perfectly. It is extremely reliable and very comfortable. I feel like I'm in a luxury car and enjoy driving it every day. I hope I'm as happy with my next car. MPG is not too bad at 21 for a V6."

"Totally amazing vehicle"

"I'm the second owner, we purchased it about 11 years ago with just over 106k miles. I've owned several cars but none as dependable as this one. I'm trained as a mechanic and the parts used in this car are of really good quality and it's amazingly easy to work on. Jobs that take days on other vehicles take minutes on this car. Most of the engine bolts are the same size (10 mil). It has great power, gas mileage, space, and everything is made out of good materials made to last (the steering wheel won't wear off in your hands like a new Hyundai). I've replaced two timing belts, two ignition coils, and basic parts. I'm not sure if we'll ever need another car."
