Positive Review

"You're a fool if you don't consider this car"

This car makes all internal combustion engine cars antiques. Range anxiety is none existent. Really, can it get any easier than to plug your car in at home and leave every morning with a full "tank". Or, go days without charging and charge all at once overnight. On long trips the Tesla network is perfect, you charge to 80% in about 20 minutes and then move on. The car is very smooth and quiet riding. Without a clunky engine running it is such a pleasure to drive. And is it fast. The instantaneous power is intoxicating. The car is very well constructed and the software updates make it seem like a new car every time you receive one. No stops at gas stations, no oil changes, no filters, no exhaust system, no tune-ups. After 8 months and over 10,000 miles my maintenance costs = $0 and my cost to charge = ±$250.

Critical Review

"Do Not Buy!!!"

I highly recommend that you wait until many more electric vehicles come out from other automobile manufacturers. The car is fun to drive and has a lot of easy to use features, but the quality of the components and the build of the car is poor!!!

Self driving should make this car worth much more. There wasn't an option to add value to the final price,

Best car I ever had

After seven years without any problems and love the auto pilot. I just wish mosque would resign. Haven’t had any negatives after 60,000 miles.

Tesla has lost its mojo

2018 model, cheap, tacky, rattles everywhere- should be a 25k car. Software very responsive but touchscreen is horrible to use when driving.

Grey Ghost
Pros

Comfortable seats, smooth ride, quiet cabin, solid build quality, awesome sound system

Cons

None

Have been very impressed with the vehicle so far, just took delivery of a 2024 Performance Model 3 and have never owned a Tesla vehicle before. I come from traditional ICE vehicles, Camrys, Accords, MDX, Corollas, Silverados, and Mustangs. Finally took the plunge into the EV world, very impressed with the build quality, quietness, solidity, and even refinement of this Highland refresh model 3. Only 200 miles so far, time will tell after a few thousand miles charging, highway commute travel will treat this beast. But it is a tame as long as you are smooth on throttle. Cheers to the Grey Ghost!

Tesla model 3 “performance” Fastest, and best car

I’ve only had my Tesla model three “performance” for about a week. The performance option was a $5000 upgrade. For that you get Lamborghini performance at an economy price! 0-60 in 2.9 seconds! And, the dual motor 500 HP is going into four-wheel-drive! So if I come up upon a new Corvette, which theoretically has the same 0 to 60 time, I can beat it every time, every day. It will be sitting there, trying to spin its 2 tires, all the time limiting it’s HP to avoid that. Meanwhile, my 4 tires dig in and lift the headlights up so high, it almost goes over the top of the car in front of you! It crouches like a tiger, getting ready to spring! It is so much fun, and the quality is at least as good as the Lexus that I just got rid of (that it replaced.). Twice as fast as the $700.000 Ferrari F40 super car! I love pretty much everything about the entire car, and with its $2000 upgrade ultra red paint, that is unmatched in the automotive world, and it’s $1000 upgrade white interior and the $5000 PPF film on it, and a thousand dollars of other extras, I got a very good deal! If u buy a new Tesla through my referral, u save $2,000 and I get $1000. Then same incentive applies to u also! It is a 2022, and only has 33,000 miles on it, and with the paint protection, it truly looks like new! It is My favorite car of my 50 years of driving, performance, and luxury cars!! Times 10! No wonder TESLA builds the best selling car in the entire world! (The model Y)

1ST EV 2018 RWD

Great EV for tech, performance, style, and fun factor. Early tire wear (25k miles) is because of the weight of the car. Replacing OEM tires (Michelins) with Continentals increased longevity of tire wear (over 30k miles). Ride is smooth, but newer 2024 overall ride, control, mileage and quietness of the cabin is much improved (based on test drive). Only concern is the parts Tesla uses for upper and lower control arm bushings. These parts became defected at about 55-60k miles or so and had to be replaced. The only warning was squeaking (associated with the upper control arm) while driving. There was no warning of the wear associated with the lower control arm bushings. I had the car inspected that revealed the failure. The repair cost for the lower control arm bushings (right and left) was $1400.
