Positive Review
would but another one if there was a dealership in town. Best car I have had in a SUV, loved everything about it. Having multiple CD player is the only way, I am not into MP3.
Critical Review
When I first purchased this vehicle 4yrs ago I really loved it but it didn't take long for me to realize that I was gonna be at the service dept. every other month. My hood latch broke in the first month I had it, My headlights alternated every other month on going out even after the dealer replaced the holding units due to faulty manufacturing. the interior lights never worked properly and when the battery left me sitting at the grocery store I had to have it serviced because it wouldn't run right until the brain of the car was reset and it was quite costly. Plus at the end of owning it , the vehicle it started having an oil leak even though I always had my oil changed and car serviced as recommended. I prayed for 2yrs until I could finally trade it!

Here we are 2023, still driving my 2006 Grand Vitara. One of the BEST cars I’ve ever owned. I only wish I was the original owner. I bought it used in 2011. Only minor repairs. ❤️
All
Stopped importing to Canada
This car SUV is tough as nails! Tows a 2500lb trailer no problems strong but steady!! Oil changes at 5000kms is the key for longevity!! That’s cheaper than a new engine in the long run!!! Japanese made Quality!! Can’t say enough about this car,,, looking for another one used as Suzuki stopped importing in 2014

Best vehicle ever owned, reliable, fun, good gas mileage, parts last. Bought w 89k miles. Love it at 16 yrs old.
Very reliable car, nice and powerful
I got this car used and it has been the best car I have owned. The only none maintenance thing I had to fix in the 4 years I have had it was the valve cover gasket. The car runs great and everything works like its supposto.
Fun car
Not enough horse power needs more
This has been the best first car ever never quits no matter how much I beat it my one friend has went threw 3 cars and this one never starts
Solid Construction

RELIABLE, confortable, still feels like new. Excellent performance. Still in love. Responsive engine and transmission.
Very reliable
Gas mileage about 21 or 22 doesn't seem to matter
I've owned it since it was new. Very few repairs. It does burn out a lot of headlights. Engine and transmission are untouched. Even the muffler and shocks are original. Usual stuff like brakes belt. You name it it probably hasn't been worked on.
TOO MANY TO LIST
yeah the engine is kind of noisy , but "so what"
I HAVE OWNED SUZUKI VEHICLES SINCE 1986. SAMURAI, ESTEEM, VITARA, GRAND VITARAS . BUT MY 2006 SUZUKI GRAND VITARA IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. MAKES YOU WONDER WHY MY SUZUKI HAS A LOW RESALE VALUE FOR SUCH A GREAT CAR. SUZUKI'S GROW ON THEIR OWNERS AND AT TIME OF TRADE IN "ITS HARD TO LET THEM GO"... I EVEN HAVE A 1999 CHEVY TRACKER WITH A GREAT 4 CYLINDER SUZUKI ENGINE "AWESOME GAS MILEAGE", BUT IT IS GROUNDED BECAUSE OF SMOG FAILURE (EMISSIONS TOO HIGH) THE KEY TO THE SUZUKI ENGINE IS "CONSTANT OIL CHANGES" NEVER LET THEM GO OVER 2,500 WITHOUT AN OIL CHANGE!
