This car has been nothing but good to me! The forenza has been almost 100% reliable. This car can go the distance and back wherever you need it to go. You can tell the car was made cheap. But that's the point of the car, cheap yet reliable. The forenza gives you a great value for your money. Parts are getting hard to find because of suzuki going out of business, but the parts are somewhat cheap. It has so far completed every task I have asked it todo and more. I give this car a 8/10 overall because the car does what suzuki says it does. Also, the car looks sharp! It is something I'm not asshamed to drive. But don't forget this is a cheap car. There is not a lot of features, but it gets the job done and then does it the next day. Love this car and I plan to drive it until the doors fall off!

I have now had my little Forenza for almost three years. In those three years I have been on the back of a tow truck, due to this car just breaking down on me, about 6 times. Timing belt, front wheel bearing, and all twelve engine heads have been replaced in the last year. My little car has stopped twice while I was driving on a major highway now. Recently, it has lost some of its power, and constantly wants to roll back down hills instead of going up them. So over my three years in my little Forenza, I have picked up some things I love and hate about it. Pros: This little car is very fun to zip around in. When it does have power, this car has some heart and keep up with the big boys on the road. It handles very well, and is very smooth while I zoom through traffic. This little car is my car that could. Through all the issues I have had, its kept going. Along with timing belt, wheel bearing, all twelve heads all being replaced, twice now hoses have fallen off of the coolant container causing my car to over heat, but my car is still trucking. Lastly, being a young woman with no real clues about cars, I did not put oil in this car for the first year and half that I had. The oil light never came on, it never overheated, it just kept going. It wasn't until I put oil in my baby, that my issues really started with this car. Cons: Currently is completely unreliable. Every few months I'm having to take it to the shop, so my mechanic can revive it yet again. My little car was ok the first couple of years, now its ready to fall apart any second. Lastly, I live in the South and it gets over 100 degrees here in the summer. The whole time I have had this car, I have had no AC during the summers.

Excellent car no problems whatsoever
I brought this car straight off the lot with 10 miles on it. I kept it for 11 years and I can say this car never gave me a problem. I kept it clean, it ran like a gem and if I could buy another one like it I would. I regret giving it to my son (they really don't know how to take care of "gifts") anyway, it had low mileage 91,000 in 11 years and it was what I called it my Silver Fox (the color of the car was silver) I loved it.

Cornering higher speeds, some roads cause noise
Excellent car. Since new I have spent $12.00 on a brake light indicator, $34.00 for a TRS. That’s it. Totally reliable! Averaged 32 miles per gallon. It’s comfortable, practical, and reliable. My only complaint is cornering at interstate speeds. I keep regular oil changes, gentle driving habits, and it has had 95% highway driving. 130 k....Would absolutely buy another if they still made. Would also recommend to anyone as a good car!
This was my first car as a 16 year old, so as you can imagine, I used and abused it quite a bit. I went longer than I'd like to admit without oil changes, scraped it against the side of a garage, and just generally didn't take the best care of it in those early years. Despite all that it lasted me a solid 11 years without breaking down on me or costing me much to maintain. After 11 years of abuse the car finally overheated and blew a head gasket, but that's the first time I've ever had a problem with it at all. For the low price and the ease of maintenance, I'd say its a solid car.
Do not buy this car. I have read many other reviews and have realized others have had the same problems. The transmission slips going downhill/uphill/on the highway. Rotors need replaced every few months. Shift lock breaks due to the horrible shifter placement. Coolant leak out of upper radiator hose & still leaks after new hose, new thermostat housing/gauge, timing belt, and water pump. Rear shocks leak, and tire pressure light goes on and off. Terrible gas mileage, and has trouble starting in cold and rainy weather. Moral of the story, do not buy this car. Suzuki is out of business and is for a reason.

Small mirrors, parts are hard to find
Wow, for what I paid for this car brand new, I like what I've received in return. It's not an Infinity but, it does get me where I need to go. As long as you maintain it clean, the car looks pretty nice(for some reason I have fallen in love with the taillights). I grew up on big V-8s so the power was a bit to get used to but, give it time and it will soon fly upwards of 80-90 mph and feel so smooth while doing it. For that reason I traded in my first silver 06 at 36k miles and bought another brand new (at the time) 2008 Suzuki Forenza before they discontinued its production. I hope this car makes it to my kids hands. Heck, no lie, I've had 2014 Ford Fusion owners tell me they love the way my car drives, so yeah.

I've been having it for about 3 yrs 1/2 no problems always starts even in a he coldest winters no problem I am the second owner and I recommend it to anyone good reliable car .
