Positive Review
After 20 yr's owning multiple Jeep's, the fuel cost of owning finally drove us away from the brand. The women in my family feel AWD is a must, in '10 (gas $4gal) I relunctantly helped my daughter (100 mile daily commute) buy a new Subaru Legacy 2.5i because of the 28 mpg. To our amazement she has averaged 33mpg. The car has been trouble free (180,000 miles, 2 sets/tires & 1 Brake job). My wife was so impressed that we purchased a '12 Legacy for her (48K Trouble free miles). After enduring a snowy winter in a '13 Accord, I decided I needed AWD again. Seeing and test driving the re-designed '15 Legacy, I quickly decided to trade my Accord. WOW!!!!!, CVT as good or better than the Honda, 33mpg,Upgraded interior and infotainment. It was a NO BRAINER to buy another Legacy.Upgraded to a "Loaded" Limited 2.5 for under $28,500. If you are thinking of buying a car in this catagory (ie; Accord, Camry etc.) do yourself a favor and at least test drive the new '15 Legacy. You won't be disappointed!
Critical Review
External noise comes through the doors and is very disturbing. Tires on the road, cars adjacent to you on the highway, wind noise.. all this has ruined the pleasure from the ride . I love long drives but now it's a chore. I want to get out of the car quick. My previous car was so silent, I could listen to a classical guitar strumming at volume # 8. Now it's jacked up to 35 giving me a migraine everyday. I bought ear plugs and actually use them everyday to work. Wish wish wish I had driven it more on the highway before buying it. It's a huge loss for me, but I value my sanity more.

Battery and delaminated screen issues
Na
Bought new but it has been nothing but problems with batteries and delaminated screen. Will not ever buy Subaru again.
I'm quite impressed with everything about my new used Legacy!
I've not yet found anything that I don't like!
I took ownership of this Abyss Blue Metallic 4 dr. sedan on New Year's Eve, 3 days ago. The Subaru is equipped with everything I was looking for in a car. This is my first Subaru, so for the immediate future I'm learning about the features and how to use all of them. I'm very impressed so far with my Legacy and was basically sold on it when I test drove it. I did business with Spurr Chevrolet GMC in Brockport, NY. The Legacy was actually sold by them as they had a Subaru franchise at that time. I recommend them to anyone looking for a new/used vehicle. I was treated very well. It was a 'Spurrtastic' experience!
I really love this car, it speeds up well and drives great in the winter. I have put a lot of miles on my car and it still runs well. I take it up the mountains in the summer it a great all wheel drive and rides higher than other sedans. Gets great gas mileage and is really comfortable overall, such as great heating and cooling systems. I have had some problems but I wouldn't say they were unexpected because I definitely get use out of my car. The only downside I've had is that it can be a very expensive car to fix and takes a special mechanic other than that I love this car.
Love at first sight. Safety, Reliability, Value
2015 Purchased new…in a past life I owned an MB SEL and my Legacy with Leather/Wood Grain option gave me the Luxury ride I wanted at a price range I could afford. Never a problem, lovingly maintained…but due to high mileage I am now forced to look for a new car :( Legacy 2024/2025 here I come again :)

My 2 grandchildren love my car . They both passed driver test first time. It has 28,000 miles since I use it locally. There are no scars and it has New tires at 25,000 miles its Gray immaculate interior.
REALLY ENJOYED THIS CAR. IT WAS RELIABLE, GREAT IN SNOW, AND ROOMY. MY SUBARU IS EXCELLENT ON GAS MILEAGE, 4 CYLINDER. LOVED MY HEATED SEATS ON COLD MORNINGS. MY BEST CAR SO FAR.
doesnt do anything poorly; good in many aspects
no ultra modern features like wireless charging
My 2016 Subaru Legacy 3.6R has served me well for over 6 years now. The car is reliable, attractive, intuitive, and quick. The flat 6 engine does great with low end torque and speed. My legacy has never given me any problems, and is a very safe option for me with its symmetrical AWD since I live in a snowy climate. The 2016 Legacy 3.6R isnt going to win any medals for anything. But for the price I payed, it does everything above average for a car of its class. All the gadgets you could want too. An easy to use navigation system paired with the 500+ Watt Hardom Kardon gives a stellar car non experience. Would highly recommend the vehicle still even 6 years later!
