I inherited my husband's 2008 Vue when we bought a pickup, and I have to say it's the best vehicle I've ever driven. Good gas mileage for its class, comfortable, and lots of room for hauling. The V6 has a lot of oomph, and it's very responsive. Dash is laid out well, and the controls are very accessible and easy to learn and use. Visibility is excellent. No mechanical problems at all. Perform the regular/scheduled maintenance and it should last a lifetime.

Critical Review
This car has went thru three rack and pinion assemblies in 60,700 miles. the current one is now squeaking and needs to be replaced. The transmission has also failed in the last week. The only bright side is that GM is paying to repair the transmission since they are taking responsibility.

Used; decent shape, well maintained, vhg, grey/blue tan interior, sunroof has smmal leak, battery weak, 208455 miles on odemoter.

Not the best gas milage
I’ve been very happy with my Saturn SUV XR. I wish General Motors would’nt have stopped making them. It has a V6 3.6 L motor the same motor as a Cadillac. Very Happy!

The framework is rusting through. No service shop will put this vehicle on their hydraulic lift stating safety concerns.
Mint condition inside and out. Can’t go wrong for the price considering todays used car market and how difficult used cars are to come by. Fun to drive.

Great visibility...more than enough power...roomy
Gas mileage...hard to work on (engine work)
Very dependable vehicle and a great towing vehicle. The only problem with the engine is difficult to work on. If you keep oil level up and do oil changes every 5k this vehicle will last well over 200k. If you ignore oil, timing chains will be a problem, and you don't even want to know what problems you will have when chains stretch, or break.

I have owned this car for 130,000 of the 152,000 miles and driven it both city and countless highway miles. It is a reliable and sturdy small SUV that can handle mountain passes in Pennsylvania as well as busy streets in any major city in North America. The brakes are outstanding. The engine delivers what’s needed. It still has a lot of get up and go after 12 years and many miles. Does not burn fluids. Good gas mileage. It’s held up to many packed-up travels. Great vehicle.
I love it my car wouldn't trade it for the world but only thing is I can't figure out what is this ticking sound coming from up under the hood like towards the engine anybody know thank you
