Positive Review
This was my first vehicle as a teenager, I owned it for about 5 years then decided to buy something larger once we started a family. We sold it with over 180,000 miles to my brother who drove it to almost 200,000. From the moment we sold it we regretted selling it. We recently bought a second one, we drove 2 hours to get the low mileage great condition vehicle as we plan on driving it until it dies. Great gas mileage at about 30 mpg. The front cv joints were a common issue with this vehicle, but they are not difficult to replace and inexpensive.

Great gas milage, eazy up keep and fun to drive
Little noisey, and no leg room, small trunk.
When first getting this car i was mostly interested cause of the low miles and the manual transmission on top of the fact it got great gas milage for my longer work trips the car manual booklet said 32/40 on the hwy and with the better up keep that i always take on my vehicles i wouldnt be suprised to see the higher 40's. Also this car will accelerate as fast as u can shift the clutch very impressed with over all performance.
inexpensive to buy and maintain
noisy and kind of small
purchased in 2003, have owned this car for 12 years and it has been largely trouble free. Beyond a couple of batteries, an exhaust system, brakes, tires, and a couple of minor electrical glitches caused by an aftermarket alarm it has only required routine maintenance.
Although I feel like I am losing one of the family, I find it necessary to sell my beloved white 1995 four-door Saturn wagon to make way in my driveway for my sons' cars. The Saturn has brand new tires, and a tape deck which I have really enjoyed. It is in fine condition, and was a delight to drive. I am looking for another Saturn lover who will give my hatchback a good home.
Best shopping cart car ever and plastic wont rust
no cup holder (just like a Lotus)
Owned >10 years. Does everything well. Once I year a fuel injector quits so I just give it a quick zap with 12volts from the battery while the engine runs and it works another year. Parking brake should NEVER be used (thanks GM, same as my Malibu). When a power window stops working I just buy a door at a junkyard for $35, trade the "new" one for the old, switch the door skin to my red one and Viola! Every 7 years I have to do a COMPLETE brake part replacement (road salt damage) and thanks to the salt, the muffler cant make it past 5.

I have the 1994 SC-2 I purchased fairly cheap from a friend who had it for a good 6 years or so. I've ridden in it multiple times and loved it to the point I had to buy it. It's slick, zippy, comfortable, easy to work on, and stylish. I would recommend one to anyone wanting a car good on gas yet fun to drive for cheap.
Easy to get around car. Looks and runs great.
It's a smaller car for those who need more room.
I've owned this car since it was brand new. It has been an extremely reliable car. Has always given me great service. It looks dynamite with a sporty spoiler and perfect black body. Car has 119,680 original miles. Has always been garage kept.Fully maintained. Brand new exhaust system. I have always kept it in excellent condition. I have full maintenance records since it was purchased in October 1995. It's a real Classic.
great reliable nice handling economical car.
Not a big car, and sits low like sports car.
This is actually about a 1993 SD2 sedan with 4 cyl DOHC engine (1994 was oldest age Saturn shown in choices). It has consistently been the fastest starting engine I have ever owned. Fuel mileage has always been about 30 mpg (except when I carry too many heavy items in the trunk, then it drops to about 28 mpg). Nice sports car handling and cornering qualities. Has been very reliable. We are second owners, bought it used with about 105K miles, but with good service history, and we always change oil and service regularly since owning it now 15 years. Very practical car to own and drive. Not a car for large people being in the compact car size range.
