If you desire a fuel-efficient commuter car with a bit of an edge, the Ion’s handsome new grille, trendy center-mounted instrument pod and innovative "four-door coupe" design may appeal to you.
If interior design is important to you, the Ion’s interior, though improved, still feels somewhat Spartan when compared to its competition. Also, the Ion’s resale value can’t match the numbers set by the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla.
