What Owners are Saying About the 2006 Saab 9-2X

"A piece of art"

"I bought it a week ago and a I cannot be happier. Even though I paid 17000 (September of 2007) with my trade in, I think I am very happy with it. The interior is great! Black and White (cream) leather front and back seat and the side of the doors. The sun-moon roof is amazing. They call this car Saabaru, because the interior it's a Subaru Impreza plus the leather seats and the cool features like de 6 CDs player. AC is amazing, the sound is far better than the one in the Impreza (my wife has a 2006 one). Last Sunday I was driving it on a parking lot, really slow, and it seems the engine was off. It has a very quiet engine. Runs great on the highway!!! I really love it!!! I am very happy with this really good looking car and I highly recommend it to everyone."

"great car!"

"I love this car! It is responsive and fun to drive and great for hauling around a small family, groceries, etc. There is a lot of cargo space if you fold the back seats down. It's also fun to have a car that isn't everywhere."

"Saabaru 05 Automatic"

"This car should have come from the factory with a little more umph. The 2006 model moves in the right direction with the extra .5L of displacement and this makes up for the turbo lag that the 05's 2.0L suffers from with the automatic transmission. While the exterior of this car offers superior styling compared to its Subaru brethren, the interior isn't so lucky. A poorly colored silver plastic makes up the majority of the trim on the dash. It is standard WRX fair and for what Saab was hoping to sell these for they should have upgraded. The interior seats are nice with the optional leather but don't look for Saab's air conditioned seats as an option as all interior pieces are from the Fuji factory in Japan. The headliner is tough as cardboard and difficult to clean. If you want the moon roof then be ready to sacrifice a good amount of headroom in the front. Despite the bland styling inside it is laid out properly and all the instrumentation is easy to figure out. The automatic climate control is a great option as well as the 6 disc CD player. The rear seats will fit adults but don't expect them to not complain on longer road trips."
