Critical Review
Bought brand new. Ran 2 weeks. Truck sat in Chrysler’s garage for 4 months. Had to buy a second truck in order to make $ to pay for 2020 truck. Opened lemon law case that took forever. Paid thousands for a truck that ran for 2 weeks. Thanks for taking care of your customer, Chrysler.

AISIN TRANSMISSION BEST FOR TOWING
Non
I have purchased 7 new rams ever have any issues, lot of people saying. Bad things about the transmission, I have a 2017 with,287000 miles same transmission 2018 295700 miles same transmission 2019 323000 miles same transmission 2020 194300 miles same transmission 2021 38000 miles same transmission 2023 98000 miles same transmission 2024 45000 miles same transmission All my trucks run with AISIN TRANSMISSION.
2022 Ram 3500 Limited w/ HO Cummins. Starter issues before 5000 miles. Towed vehicle and ended up being a grounding issue at the block. Receiving recall notices in regards to tailgate latches and recalls about spontaneous fire issues. I haven’t had them addressed because of long waits and part availability at the dealerships. I LOVE MY TRUCK. I’d buy another. Plenty of torque and 410 hp. 17 mpg empty. 13 pulling 24k. Rides stiff when empty, but of course it is a working truck.
Looks good That is all
Transmission unreliable
We use our Ram Laramie to haul livestock and at 11k the transmission malfunctioned and now our truck won't move. It's stuck in the shop and we are out of a truck. It us impossible to get in contact with RAM case managers. Move on to Chevy folks!
Just purchased and only have 3800 miles. It is a +$75,000 truck and failed in the first couple months while on a trip 800 miles from home. The transmission failed. I have learned Ram knows they have a quality issue and have releases a service bulletin for my issue. I went to the nearest dealer that is a small dealer as the vehicle is can’t be driven. The dealer told me they couldn’t look at the vehicle for a couple weeks. Tried to get the vehicle towed to another bigger dealer but Adam said they would charge me $1,000. Every call to the Ram service line is to a person in India. If you ask for a supervisor they either say they are not available or hang up. I am literally stuck as a single dad with 4 kids in the mountains of Colorado and can’t get Ram to even answer a basic question like how I can get a rental car. By God’s grace I have the funds to put my family up and fly us home because no one can tell me when my truck can be fixed. My heart breaks for anyone that had had this problem and does not have financial security. All I can say is don’t buy Ram. A Ford may cost more but I promise you they won’t leave you stuck on the side of the road for their known defect.
We use our dually to tow a 5th wheel. It performs flawlessly, is reliable and a great ride. We have a crew cab Laramie with the 8' bed

Made to order 2022 Ram 3500 diesel limited edition. Came with a crack on the inside of the windshield and had to be replaced (a lot of work because the truck needs to be re-calibrated). Air suspension made a noise like someone shot the compressor and every since, the air suspension has not acted right. Dealer found a code, reset it but it still doesn't seem right. The most troubling issue is that the main screen that pretty much controls many of the functions on the truck continues to freeze, black out, white out. Sometimes the two knobs to the right and left of the screen fail to work as well. I have been to the dealer around six times for this one issue. They replaced the module twice and the entire screen to no avail. Last time I was there (4-5-2022) they downloaded the latest firmware and opened up a "star case". It still freezes up! (04-14-22) This is a very expensive truck and I have lost a lot of money sitting at the dealership.
used to be a good truck
government regulated garbage emissions
bought new, regular maintenance, towed occasionally. Truck throwing trouble codes all def, dpf, egr related at less than 60k miles! In the dealer twice for check engine light and all they did was "flash" the computer to get the light to go out. Watch out these trucks can cost north of 10k to fix/replace the emissions junk.
