Positive Review
Brilliant car!
Critical Review
Had non-stop issues iwth Porsche Taycan. The air conditioner went out at 500 miles. The dealer put 150 miles on the vehicle when it went on for service. The charger doesn't work. Keys don't work. Constant warning lights. Would not recomend.

The Taycan is an absolute nightmare. Mine was in the shop for 3 months this summer! Within days of getting it back, the AC stopped working and it’s now back in the shop indefinitely. Porsche’s customer service has been a complete let down all the way from the top, down to the local dealership in Clearwater, Florida. I’m paying almost $2k a month for a car I can’t even drive. Porsche doesn’t care about quality or customer satisfaction anymore.
Head Turning Looks
Electric has its place
Perfect sporty driver. Know your range and it’s fantastic. This is not your only vehicle. This is a cream puff kept polished and ready for luxury driving.

battery life in cold temp's
Has it all - performance, style, handling, comfort, reliability, quiet, fit/finish, and did I mention performance?
Jekyll and Hyde combination of sport and luxury
Extremely limited availability, high option prices
Such an amazing sports car and no paid service required in over two years. I'm bringing it in for scheduled maintenance and recalls soon. The recalls are software updates and preventative measures. The scheduled maintenance is just inspections and fluid changes, with no engine issues to deal with and hardly any brake service since the Taycan uses mostly regenerative braking. I have a Taycan 4S and it performed amazingly at the track for a full day on two charges. I let all my friends and coworkers drive my Taycan and they giggle like schoolgirls when doing a launch control start or cornering at high speed. It also carries a surprising amount of stuff. I've had five adults in the car for short distances and it wasn't terrible. Getting infants in the back seat requires tilting the baby seat, which can be an issue if the baby is asleep. The cross tourismo and sport tourismo versions of the Taycan have larger rear access and this may not be an issue. I drive long distances, such as several trips a year over 800 miles, and have never had a significant issue.
I own a Tesla and yes they are great from a tech and charging infrastructure perspective but the Taycan is a Porsche. It drives like a Porsche handles like a Porsche and is simply solid. It just happens to be electric. The Tesla is a great car handles well is fast but it’s an EV first and a drivers car second.
Best drive of any EV
App interface is clunky, improved w/ recent update
Truly feels like a Porsche drive. Quick response great handling. Range is excellent. Dash looks like a real car not a big screen TV turned sideways. Functionality is great. Charge time is superb and quick. Would buy again
Non-stop issues with computer in car. Difficult to get appointments for repair and no loaners available. Dealership put 150 miles on vehicle when I took it in for service.
