Positive Review
Have had my Solstice for 5+ years. Drove it to work daily. I am petite so it fits me perfectly. It is very comfortable. Seats slide forward and then power up and down. It is Mean Yellow (yes that is the actual name of the color) and turns heads. The 5 speed turbo is powerful. Road noise for a convertible is less than normal with the acoustic top. The handling is nice and tight with no slippage on the curvy back roads. Couple things I wish were different. I wish the convertible top was powered up and down, rather than manual. I wish the seats were heated as leather is cold in the winter, but the car warms up quickly. Lastly, I dislike the little metal piece that goes across the bottom of the front of the car. The car sits so low that it gets scratched when parking if it hits the concrete "bumpers" in parking lots.
Critical Review
I have seen toy cars with more usable trunk space it's tough to get a duffle bag in. Water has a tendency of getting into the engine compartment and doing electrical damage in ordinary rain storms. I have never had a car need new door latches until this car I had to replace them on both doors. Only one cup holder and it is flimsy. the street model I own although it can get up to speed is under powered, the turbo is a definite requirement. The good points it is great looking and it handles fantastic,

Fun to Drive
Hard to get in and out for a 70 year old man
This car is in excellent condition. No winter driving. Is always stored in a heated shed. It has brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires on it. Fun to drive this EXP model but is hard to get in and out for 70 year old man.
Sporty, quick and everyone seems to notice it. There doesn’t seem to be many around, so no one knows exactly what it is. One of the sportiest and coolest looking sports cars on the road.
Fun, handles great, affordable
Small for road trips or big people
This is my summer car. I live in Tahoe and my baby car hates the snow. Ya rear wheel drive. So for the winter it gets to live in a garage we built just for it. This car is fun to drive. I love it. I got mine for $5k from a friend with only 36k miles on it in perfect shape. It handles better than any car I’ve driven, even a bmw. The ride isn’t really smooth but it corners on these mountain roads like no other. I put hankook ultra high performance tires on it and that just makes it even better. Next time I’m going to go with a longer lasting, but good quality tire. I’ve not had to do any repairs on this car. I change the oil myself and it’s super easy to do so. You just need an extension to get to the oil cap. The gas mileage is great and idk but I swear the faster you drive the better mileage you get. I took it on a 1200 mile round trip road trip. I was comfortable driving but my passenger, a 200 lb 5 foot 11 man wasn’t very comfortable. We had to pull over a couple times so he could stretch out so for a road trip where you want to be able to rest, I would say it’s not a great idea. The seats don’t recline back at all. The trunk can’t hold more than a small carry on suitcase or a duffel bag. There’s very little storage inside as well. A purse can fit behind the seat and snacks have to be placed at the passengers feet. But an amazing very fun car to drive. It’s pretty nice looking too. I always get compliments on it. The exhaust sounds awesome so people always turn to look and see what’s making the cool noise. Well men do. Women tend to give you dirty looks. A man hears the cool sound and looks at the car and the woman he is with thinks he’s looking at me. But they’re usually not. People seem to not know what brand of car it is as well. Mine has a bra therefore at first glance you don’t know. People have guessed Tesla 😂 Camaro?? But mostly a Porsche. It’s a great seemingly dependable little roadster. Not practical if you weigh a lot either. Maximum weight of occupants is 380 pounds. That’s two average sized men! I weight 110 my boyfriend weighs 200 then with any cargo we are at max. I honestly don’t know what would happen if you put two 250 lb people on it. I dont know why the low weight requirements. Love my baby car 🥰 practical or not.
Great condition
Small
This car is a second owner. It has 10,000 miles on it. It has been in the carport always it’s in mint condition. Paint job interior it’s high-performance standard from the GM factory.
Driving my Solstice, It was the best experience ever! Great performance, nice and fun ride, gas saver, great tires, excellent functions.. 5 stars for a Solstice.
Pretty good gas mileage
A little hard to get in and out for me at 87 years
Everyone I know loves their Soltice. So much FUN to drive. I own 3. Only reason I want to sell it is it is manual transmission. The other 2 are automatic transmission. With headers and high flow cat it is quite snappy but I never hot rod it. 39,100 miles. New tires at 35K. Top is absolutely LIKE NEW. New 36 month Duracel March 2022. Never any damage.

Fun to drive summer car. Car is garaged except in summer. No fall/winter driving - too light and rear wheel drive. Runs excellent. New tires last summer. New windshield last spring. New water pump last summer. Semi-minor damage on R rocker. Have pictures.
