Positive Review

"Best car made in 2007!"

This is the best car I have ever owned and driven. I've never had any issues at all with the vehicle! I would drive this car forever if I didn't need a bigger vehicle!!! It also has an amazing pioneer sound system with a built in subwoofer in the trunk and tweeters up front!!

Critical Review

"Good starter car"

This was my first car purchase. After owning it for about 5 years this is my review: There are several recalls which makes me worry about safety, there is one recall which my car is not included in but I still see the effects of the issue (power steering), radio screen goes in and out,no premium features. I would not purchase this car again.

My car

This Pontiac G5 2007 is an excellent car. The air conditioning is excellent. The heated seats are extra special. It is a red car. Very sporty looking with the spoiler on it. The body style on it is like a newer Nissan Camry. It is really quiet when driving down the road. I have brand new Nexum tires on it bought last fall. 2023.

Cute and reliable
Pros

All around practial but bit stylish car

Cons

road noise is a bit high

I have had my Pontiac G5 since 2009, it has been a great car, this is a very reliable trouble free car, in all these years the only thing that needed replaces was a clutch some years back; because my teen daughter was using for her first car, lol.

Love this car
Pros

Body styling, gas mileage.

Cons

Stiff suspension, no OnStar.

Bought her used a few months ago. I've owned a Jeep, Explorer, Expedition and a Van...but the Pontiac G5 GT has been my favorite. It's good on gas, fun to drive and is quite peppy. The leather interior is quite nice and the Pioneer sound system absolutely shreds. It has deeper trunk space than I expected. It's also easily maintained and parts are still pretty common. My only complaints are the stiff suspension, you will feel the bumps...and I wish they would have kept OnStar. If you're in need of a cheap car that is fun to drive and is reliable, this is the car.

2007 Pontiac G5
Pros

Dependable, Sporty, Fun

Cons

Small Inconviences

I got my Pontiac G5 5 years ago at 50,000 miles and it now has 177,000 miles. Since then I have lost my cd player, automatic locks, and radio in three speakers, but I get the feeling this car will run forever. I honestly adore this car, still purrs after all this time. I have noticed that I have to replace the shocks and tires more often then previous vehicles but other then that I have had no mechanical issues. I would recommend this vehicle!
