I own this Sundance for over a year now. An its taking me to all the places I needed to go.. good on gas .. it has 17inch alloy rims. A nice sound system. Good motor

Have had my fun car for over 10 years now and will do what I must to keep it going. put some wok into it...re-built transmission. Radiator blew 2 months ago but all and all it a super fun car and great for adhoc road trips. It's like the energizer bunny and keeps going and going and going. Why spend money or make payments on something newer?? Plus I get comments on it all the time :)
Reliable, Fast, Fun, quiet
Great Car. I have the manual so it's a bit. different, but that thing is fun to drive. Left ot for a year to drive my truck, got the battery back in it and drove it all weekend. That thing has always started up. And it has a very quiet engine.

This has been a good little car. It is a 4 door hatchback -- also not available in KBB listings. It has been well maintained and any problems have been immediately repaired. Maintenance has been regular and consistent with oil/lube every 3k miles; new battery every 2 - 3 years. Tires as needed. The hatchback lifter has not worked for the past 10 years; we used a stick to prop it up when needed. I no longer have need for a car as I am living in a senior residential facility.

shakes on take off a bit. no radio
this is a good starter car for someone who Needs a car RIGHT NOW. i drive it every night for work and all the time to hang out with friends so it runs real good and is reliable for work puposes. but the down side is it has no radio. there is something wrong with the front left wheel that whenyou start going it shakes the car a little bit but only lasts for 1-4 seconds. never really bothered me though. the oil light is on but the senser was tripped. i check the oil all the time and it is at the correct levels. other than that i believe this a good reliable car for someone who needs something cheap to start out with.

My family bought our Sundance about 8 years ago. It was from a deceased person and we paid $55 dollars for the car. We have put tons of miles on it, it is up to 200,000 miles. Very little work has ever been done. They are known for having bad paint jobs, bad hatchback hinges, and ignition problems. Our car has never once broken down. It is not the prettiest car anymore but at 27 mpg city and 31 mpg highway it is a very nice car. It handles good around curves, and it has a very roomy trunk for a hatchback.
