What Owners are Saying About the 1992 Plymouth Grand Voyager
"Plymouth"
"I keep hearing bad things about the transmissions from these Plymouth/Chryslers that they are bad around 160,000. I'll tell you my 1994 is now 216,000 and still shifting fine. However the blue paint is defective as it's chipping and peeling from the roof and hood. But no where else! I've seen the same on other vans with the same blue paint. So I know it's not because of me... I've had to replace just about everything except the engine and transmission but that's just cuz it's an old van. Overall I'm satisfied with the exceptioin to the paint. Hope this helps you in your decision."
"solid & dependable"
"This car has exceeded all expectations for reliability, handling, comfort, durability. Solid handling on dry roads, or snow covered hills, or while pulling a trailer. 3.8L engine is strong enough for demanding conditions, but only gets you 16 MPG around town, and 21 on the highway."
"Nothing mini about it"
"I bought my 93 Grand Voyager used in 2001 with 82k on it, it was a one owner. The transmission went out at 102k, but other then that it has never givin me any problems. It needs some minor work to be done to it, but most vehicles 16years old do. I get about 18 around town, and 25 highway, and with the seats removed you can haul a COUCH (I did)!. Don't be afraid to pick a minivan, there the best thing ever."
