Positive Review
I purchased this car last year used with over 200K miles on it. Brakes, radiator, and engine all in great shape! I have only changed the oil, oil filter, and fog lamp bulbs. Just keep it clean and remember to keep changing the oil and rotating the tires and it will run longer. I highly recommend using AC-Delco oil filters and AC Rapid-Fire Spark plugs with this car! This is simply an amazing automobile! General Motors really made a horrible mistake in killing off the Olds brand. And now Oldsmobiles are becoming a thing of the past, and increasingly rare as well... too bad. Can't go wrong buying one of these if you can find one! This is a future classic in the making! Just as the old jingle used to say, "There is a special feel, in an Oldsmobile!"
Critical Review
Just had a new air conditioner compressor installed. Drives good. Has a few spots that need touch up paint. Back reflector (red)has been removed, due to a crack and piece of glass missing.

1996 Oldsmobile LSS Very good condition, runs very well and the air conditioning is great! The outside is a unique emerald green and the interior is gray. Nice quality stereo with radio, CD and USB.
Beautiful ride
No cons
This car is amazing I love it beautiful drive like a butterfly amazing they need to start making the Oldsmobile again
Floats like a butterfly down the road
Electric work can be a pain
I bought my Oldsmobile 88 from a private dealer for $700 This car is probably the best car that I had so far , My last vehicle was a PT cruiser This vehicle brings everything to the table as far as features go for the standards of the '90s Under the hood is great everything is easy and accessible Wasn't too many problems when I bought the vehicle as far as mechanical wise it just uses a little oil The electrical is okay I had trouble with the tail lights running but that was because of squirrels making a home underneath the donut tire but overall if you're looking to buy an Oldsmobile 88 they are good quality running cars and if you can pick one up for under a thousand bucks running with no problems it's a steal Very happy with it
well built
so comfortable inside, and drives really good
few repairs needed for battery and alternator
has had a few repairs that it needed but otherwise its always been a good car for its age
Great gas milage, fun to drive, safe and secure
A few blind spots, and no rear wipers
