The P2076 code definition is “Intake Manifold Tuning (IMT) Valve Position Sensor/Switch Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1.” This is quite a long definition, but it boils down to the powertrain control module (PCM) or engine control module (ECM), also called the engine control unit (ECU), noticing a range or performance issue with the intake manifold tuning valve position sensor or switch, specifically in Bank 1, whatever that means for your vehicle.
