The P0024 and P0025 codes indicate a problem with your camshaft position. P0024 indicates that your camshaft is too far forward, whereas P0025 indicates that your camshaft is too far backward. Your vehicle’s camshaft allows your intake and exhaust valves to open and close as precisely as necessary, helping your engine function even when it’s working tremendously quickly. The camshaft position sensor will be mounted either on the camshaft directly or on the camshaft sprocket; these codes indicate that camshaft B, whichever camshaft that is for your vehicle, has an issue with proper positioning, which can negatively impact proper function.
