"Amazing updates"

I owned a 2011 Rogue and had zero problems with it, but when it came time to purchase a new car, I wanted something different. I felt so strongly that I literally didn’t even look at the Rogue during my research. I read many websites and everyone rated the Honda CR V in their top 3, while I haven’t seen the Rogue get any higher than 4th. So, I test drove the Honda CR V. I was satisfied but not excited. I left the dealership saying to myself, “SUVs are just not that exciting.” I was all set to go back and purchase it but I decided to look at the Nissan Rogue on the Nissan website. I loved the new look! The next day I went to test drive it and left only after I purchased it! I was in love as soon as I saw it on the showroom floor. Sitting in it made me feel secure and even fancy! It’s comfortable, but it’s also well designed. The front row storage is plentiful, convenient, and innovative. The backseat is comfortable and the a/c cents to the back are awesome. (My 2011 didn’t have those.) The cargo space is similar to my 2011. The safety features are plentiful but overwhelming; note, however, that they would be overwhelming in any car I bought because I’ve never owned a vehicle that had any of those features. I cannot say enough good things about this vehicle. I’m excited to drive it, though, and for me that was shocking. Even my 2011 when it was new didn’t feel exciting exactly. I only hope that this Rogue holds up as well as my other one. I firmly believe this vehicle belongs higher up on the lists.

Critical Review

"Only had it a few months and in service 7 times"

Leased the car on 11/23/2020 when my lease on the 2018 was about to mature. Starting two weeks later trouble with the display , then the remote starter. Warning lights come and alerts flash on and off for no reason. When I went to enter the car after shopping the emergency brake engaged kept flashing. And would not disengage. Yesterday while driving the alert beep went off and a warning lights flashes on the dashboard. As quick as it went on it went off Everyone it goes in for service the say there is no code for them to figure out what is going . Car is a safety risk. My other Rogues were great and no problem this one is a big disappointment and very frustrating

Platinum Edition!
Pros

Features, Comfort, Ride

Cons

none so far

We just bought a 2021 Rogue, Platinum AWD and couldn't be happier. The ride is smooth, ergonomics on point, and nice spacious interior is just right. We were hesitant at first to spend the extra money for the Platinum, but so glad we did. The speedometer and turn-by-turn navigation projection on the windshield is awesome! Highly recommend!

Love my Rogue
Pros

Everything

Cons

The negative reviews yet there is more positive ones on Reddit platform

I have the 2023 Nissian Rogue SV and I absolutely 💯 love ❤️ it! All the safety features, the extras, the Panaramic Sunroof, the backseat air vents, the style (inside and out), the new redesign--- I feel like I am in a luxury SUV. I got a great deal and jump ship from Toyota Rav 4 because it is small inside and my head almost touch the top and I am only 5' 4. Go figure. It doesn't have all the features my Rogue has unless you overpay for it. The only negatives is the negative reviews on cvt and Panaramic Sunroof-- yet not that many compared to the the positive ones--- I deciding to check it out for myself and do proper maintenance while changing trans fluid at every 30k miles, like I was told by my brother and local Nissian dealer. There is nothing I don't like including the 3cyl engine turbo. You cannot even tell is it not a 4cyl. I have no issue with the power bc I don't expect it to drive like my 6 cyl Cadallic. My Camry was 4 cylinder no cvt and this Rogue has just as much power or more than Camry plus just as good gas mileage as my Camry. 4 a SUV, I give Nissian great credit for the spectacular engineering that have dire. I hope they have solved the longevity issue yet I see so many saying no problems, made it to almost 200k miles and still going. All say just do the proper maintenance bc some do not and the suggested every 30k trans fluid change is a must 4 me then if any issues arise I can say it wasn't me. I absolutely 💯 loving my 2023 Rogue SV Premium!!! No doubt!

Got some zoom
Pros

Comfort, Tech

Cons

None so far

Only had my rouge for 2 weeks, but so far I love it. I decided on the rock creek package. It looks tough but it's just a dressed up sv with some sl options. I never planned on off roading it anyway. I just liked the look. It has plenty of zoom (for a small suv) and is comfortable with a great ride. The technology is really awesome everyday I find something cool that my 2013 altima (I drove it into the ground) couldn't do. I'm averaging about 30 mpg with a mix of city and highway driving. Overall I have no complaints so far.

Budget friendly family suv
Pros

spacious, quite, practical, affordable

Cons

poor winter cvt performance when cold

Had it for almost 10 mongh, 2022 2.5L Rougr S. Put about 8k on the car so far. Very hapt with the space, quietness, comfort level and gas mileage. Only downside is that acceleration is not as smooth as my Toyota Sienna hybrid, also steering wheel is a little vibrating when idle. And cvt in extreme cold weather is slow to run. Other than that, I bought the car for the same price of an entry level Toyota corolla, it's a budget friendly car for people who don't drive like a racer and does not like in cold climate. I live in Toronto, do not recommend if you live in colder area because you will have some performance issues during cold run.
