Positive Review
On our mission to find a first ever van for our family, I thought it would by an odyssey hands down. My husband insisted on driving different brands, grudgingly I said ok, so we did. We drove an odyssey, sienna, town and country, and a quest. At first my thoughts about the quest were no way...until I drove one. It was a hands down winner. The ride is so comfortable, feels upscale, love the fully loaded LE GPS and large display, large mirrors, a well for my groceries so they don't slide everywhere, everything. We drove a 14 town and country and my husband was bobbing up and down in the passenger seat the whole time. The odyssey just didn't feel upscale or have any luxury. The LCD camera was so small. The sienna I could turn the wheel with my pinky, it was too easy. The Quest unexpectedly fit my needs perfectly. I have already nearly locked the keys in the car 3 times in the few months we've had this, but with a feature the doors won't lock with them inside. I am confused why this is at the bottom of the minivan ratings, this van is great! We live in a rural area so mostly highway driving, some stop and go, I get a consistent 23.9 MPG. We drove 5 hours to get a 14 with only 900 miles on it, so glad we did! Now my extended family wants one!
Critical Review
I was excited when I bought my Nissan Quest and it does have a lot of room and has been a good reliable vehicle for family road trips. However, I have had to have the back lift gait painted twice because of rust around the window. I like the engine and the pick up...it is a quick mini van. The arm rest on drivers side has multiple cracks in it which started when the van was approx. 2 years old...this is being replaced per warranty. I have grey leather which looked great initially but has stained very easily and doesn't clean well even though I had leather protector put on the vehicle. The rear view windshield washer just trickles (it does not spray and that is how it is designed according to the dealership) on the window and doesn't clean the window very well. In the winter it is often difficult to see out of the back window.

I drove every new mini van before I purchased my Quest in 2012. There was no comparison in the ride, handling or drive. I still love it at 153,000 miles. So much so that I put a new suspension on it and it rides like a new car again. The tight turn circle is awesome as is the roomy interior. Have packed it to the gills for multiple vacations and college move ins. It was a quality purchase for our growing and now grown family.
Versatile
Large Vehicle
I have the SL model, with a bit of a ground effects kit. The Van also has the third row fold down seating. The 2d row of seats tilts forward. Between the fold down/forward seats there is a big cargo space. With the seats all up, you can carry 7 people comfortably. The 2 moon roofs and the DVD system keep adults and kids entertained. The V6 is strong enough for the van and allows easy highway entrance. MPG is above 22. As the title says, the Nissan Quest Van is a versatile vehicle.
120000 miles, paint still good, fairly clean inside, doesn’t use oil or leak any fluids. Seating for 7.
Quieter and smoother than other minivans
For tall driver a blind spot at left windshield
Owned this for years now, and must say it’s most fuel efficient from all regular competitors, while has enough engine torque to drive up hills without screaming at higher speeds. It’s very roomy and comfortable for all travelers and upgraded dvd rear seat entertainment keeps kids busy. Only downside is visibility for tall drivers at left windshield pillar, as seat is rolled back, it creates a blind spot.
COMFORTABLE!!!
The Nissan Quest is no longer available; UGH!!!
This van is extremely comfortable; the heft keeps it stable in windy conditions. It holds a lot of stuff; I was able to move 2000 miles with my most personal items without worry. My only concern was that the gas mileage was not as efficient as had been claimed in Nissans' vehicle description. It hurt a bit, but the van kept me safe, and that is all I cared about! I wish Nissan would bring this van back to production as it is certainly comparable to both the Toyota Sienna and the Honda Odyssey. The minivan made a great comeback, but stock availability is still limited everywhere to this day (8/22/2022). Funny how everyone wanted the minivan when it was no longer readily available...go figure!!! That said, I do love my Nissan Quest.
None
NIssan's CVT transmissions are bad. Do not buy. Van is unsafe to drive. Shakes, shudders, doesn't accelerate, loss of power, etc. Nissan has known about this since 2003 yet they have continued to manufacture vehicles with defective parts. Nissan won't assist customers. Class action lawsuits have been filed against Nissan for many models. Sent complaint to NHTSA.
Corners great fast sleeper vehicle like to blow ra
Burns to much gas
It hauls butt corners as well as my Mazda 6 and had a 5.0 rating why I bought it fun to blow the doors off hondas
Fairly stylish, lots of place to store stuff..
CVT Transmission....that is all
This was out first minivan experience, looked at Sienna and Voyager, but the Quest was a better price. Maintenance was fairly low until the CVT transmission went out at 175,000. Of course we got replaced, not rebuilt....only to have it go again 75,000 miles later. But on the flip side, we did have that vehicle for a little over 9 years....but still....
