Positive Review
"I bought this vehicle and it has turned out to be a very nice vehicle to drive, I commute 210 miles a day to work and this vehicle makes the trip with ease at 70 mph and uses just over a quarter of a tank. Handles turns nicely 2WD version, The Café Latte interior looks great and is very quiet inside and comfortable but the FM radio gets bad in the mountainous regions. I had to replace the passenger side view mirror, the glass only. I had to take to the dealer because the memory needed to be flashed and I had to replace the three original catalytic converters at 210,000 miles and the Nissan Murano now has 236,000 plus miles on it and still going Strong. All in all I like my Nissan Murano very much. "
Critical Review
I've had this car since 2007, so you might say that I got my money's worth. BUT, at 144,000 miles, I expect that it should still be running. However, I was recently told that I needed a NEW ENGINE (they don't service them, they REPLACE them) because it burns oil. No visible smoke; the oil goes in, then it disappears, not even drips on the ground. So that's a $9,000 repair on a vehicle worth about $5,500. I loved the car at one time so much that I considered replacing the engine, but was warned by the dealership that other major problems were coming if the engine was failing. I've been driving it for about a year with this problem. Another problem recently started, with the car hesitating before accelerating. From the forums I'm seeing that the transmission is about to go. That's another $4,600-8,000. There is a recall item, too...after an oil change, technicians frequently knock a vacuum hose off of a housing, which will bring the car to a choking halt. The first time this happened I was on a busy freeway. It was fixed under a recall, but it's happened twice more since then. The car loses power completely. It can be fixed with a screwdriver, but that's not the point. The suspension also has problems, I have a very strange wear problem on the front tires that indicates "worn or out of alignment suspension." Tires, by the way, are a minimum of $200 apiece. Gosh, I miss my Honda. It was a great car for a few years, but I wouldn't spend $50K on a new one knowing the problems I've had with this one. I just don't trust Nissan to make a car that will last more than 125,000 miles!

Worth every penny paid/invested. The best car engine we've ever had, never had any problems.
Computer system
Having this car for years&years and never had any motor problem. Just change oil and tires. There is some issue with the computer/key.
The vehicle has repairs and some scratches dents. It's older so you get what you pay for it's a beater with a heater.
comfortable, spacious interior
oil leaking issues, poor CVT reliability
Pros: super comfortable interior, especially the front seats which was great during long drives. Strong A/C. Reliable, strong engine (3.5L V6) if you do your oil changes; tons of cargo space. AWD very useful in the snow Cons: starts becoming a money pit after 85,000 miles. Problems included: the TPMS light would come on anytime there was a bump in the road, requiring it to be reset (more of a dumblight nuisance), chronic oil leaking which will leak onto sensors, triggering check engine light, weak trunk struts especially in the winter where you need 1 hand to support the hatch open; needed frequent alignments; and the biggest offender, the CVT. After some stop and go traffic in the city, the car began to make a lot of clacking sounds and then completely lost all power, leaving me stranded. The mechanic told me that used replacement CVTs can go any time. The cost to fix was about the same as the price of the car. While it's a decent car, there are so many other cars with much better reliability that will give you much less stress. Steer clear.
Tiene luz de check encendía, pintura en buen estado, esta limpio el interior con piel rines originales

I bought this car used. Had a little bit of an oil leak That I had fixed. Then the catalytic converter's wing then the valve cover gasket went then the coil pack went then it started leaking oil like crazy then it blew the engine. Put a used engine in there runs great until oh it went through 3 alternators in a week And within the last month it blew a circumstance belt Bluetooth tires there's and now the rear passenger tire will not spin it drags and when you stop the car about 2 seconds later it feels like somebody hits you going to 6 miles now not sure what that is or what that is working on having that fixed I bought this car for $3800 I've put over $10000 into this car Definitely not worth the buy but one of the most comfortable cars I've ever been in
Love this suv, it's great to drive. Fun in the snow and mud, great on fuel as compared to my other SUV. Looks fantastic and drives like a champ
roomy
serious mechanical issues
I bought a used nissan murano and had no problems the first 6 months and it was checked by a mechanic. first it was a problem with the oil, then the breaks and coils and now the motor. I just read other reviews and they had the same problems back to back as I did.. I do not think they are built to last long
