Positive Review

"Solid car, worth the value"

This is my daily commuter vehicle. I, do not have any concerns. This car gets me around, and it does get decent fuel mileage. They are very reliable and comfortable. Plenty of room for passengers. The interior design is really nice. Very easy going, with comfy leather seats. The Bose surround sound speakers are terrific. I, enjoy using this cd player. Apple car play, and other apps. Touch screen stereo, dual climate heating control. Many nice things these cars have. Very reliable, fun to drive.

VS

Critical Review

"Scrap metal"

That's all this car is worth, scrap metal. These cars have the worst resale value. They are basically a push away car. There not made to hold any future trade in value. The fuel mileage is terrible for being a sports sedan they claim to be from nissan. It's not a quick car whatsoever. This car has a combo v-6 engine with transmission. There's your problems right there!! Walk away from these maxima sedans.

Love my Maxima

I drive a 2018 Maxima which I bought new, had 25480 miles. This is my 3rd Maxima in a row. I am very disappointed that Nissan has discontinued Maxima. Of the 3 I've owned (all new), I've never had a single problem. You may be wondering why I have such low miles, I only Drive 10 miles a day. I did put on 1800 miles during two trips.

Bad transmission
Pros

Nope

Cons

Engine crank seal leak, transmission etc

"Transmission Replacement" It's a big car, more exspensive for repairs being a front wheel drive v-6. This vehicle sucks!! Does not have a good reputation. Trade in value is very sluggish regardless what you paid.

Very hard vehicle to trade in
Pros

Hell No For Pro's

Cons

V6 front wheel drive vehicle

No matter what you paid for this car, you won't ever get your money back out of it. The trade in value is poor!! It's not a good car to own. Small compact size vehicle's is what people like. This maxima is a big car!! Front wheel drive v6!! Worst experience ever for getting involved with this vehicle.

Entry Luxury car with sporty attitude

All these current one star reviews look like fake auto bot news. For its size it's nimble, fast and fun. Looks great inside and out. Nothing else on the road looks like it. Owned mine since 2017 and people still stop and ask want car is that, looks great. Might not be suited for families yet does fine as the second vehicle. I get good MPG, ave 28 combined for a 300 horse engine. Have had no issues. Only normal wear and tear items like oil, tires and brakes. OEM tires were aweful. Put quality tires on and your good to go. In some reviews tires wobbled is not an alignment issue but tire balance issue.

Great features but I did run into issues
Pros

Fast

Cons

Poor MPG

Bought my car 3 years ago and my front collision sensor kept malfunctioning and putting a light on my dash but other than that I didn’t have any issues with my CVT or anything else! The window controller (idk what it’s called) is cheap though and peeled very easily. Never had that issue before with a car. Very spacious truck and it’s fast for a regular guy like me!

Nice car for a short amount of time.
Pros

Lots of space. Drives smooth.

Cons

Everything starts to break after just 2 years

Last year I bought a 2022 Nissan maxima sv from Herts car sales. It had only 30k miles on it and was relatively well priced, and I really liked the spacious interior. No here we are 18k miles later, and I’m already having issues. My starter has gone bad and my alternator is already starting to go bad. NOT EVEN 50K MILES!! I also already need wheel alignments because I get terrible vibration whenever I go over 40 mph. My last car I had for 7 years and drove it 70k miles, and I never had to get my wheels aligned (It was a Toyota, so no surprise there). This car is fun to drive (for the first 12 months), but it is ridiculously overpriced for something that starts to break down after just 2 years.

THE DEPRECATION VALUE DROP
Pros

No

Cons

Resale value, Engine, Transmission

One of the most unpopular vehicles in history, and the deprecation value owning this vehicle is at all time low. Understand what this means?? This vehicle has a terrible book value!! This car is oversized, bad fuel mileage. Terrifying transmission that's waiting to go out. Front wheel drive v-6. Do not buy this car!!!
