Positive Review
Picked up our new Armada about 3 weeks ago. We came from a 2015 Ford Explorer that I hated but the wife had to have it. We test drove just about all of the full size SUV's out there. Tahoe, Yukon, Expedition, 4Runner...etc. Before we even started looking, the wife had her heart dead set on getting a Tahoe. I went and drove the Armada one day while she was at work and instantly knew this was the vehicle. I had gone days before to test drive a Tahoe and the Armada in my opinion beats the Tahoe in just about every area. Told my wife about the vehicle that night and she agreed to test drive. When she first saw it she loved the look. She drove it and loved the feel, power and comfort. But before she made up her mind, she wanted to test drive a Tahoe. Swung into the nearest dealership, while still on our private test drive in the Armada, and she went on a quick cruise in a 2016 Tahoe with a salesman while I stuck back at the dealership. They get back and the salesman is talking it up, wanting to talk numbers and my wife gives me the "let's get out of here" look. Get in the Armada and all she can say is how much more she likes it over the Tahoe. As I said in the beginning, she was dead set on the Tahoe and I didn't think there was any changing that. I liked the Tahoe but everyone has one and I just didn't like what you get for the price. Long story short, we headed right back to Nissan and stuck a deal we couldn't pass up! I will mention that I gave the design a 9 because I have to admit the dash layout and technology features are lagging behind that of Ford & Chevy but it's still a good, proven system that mirrors what they use in the Infiniti version of this vehicle. I can't say enough good things about this vehicle and how much we love it compared to the other ones in it's class. Go test drive one if you're in the market for something this size and you will see what I am talking about.
Critical Review
I purchased a 2020 Nissan Armada in July it only had 12 miles on it. I like the styling, handling, and overall comfort of this vehicle, however I have some cause for concern. A couple weeks after purchase I noticed a random squeak coming from the front end of the car that got progressively worse as I drove. I contacted the dealership and they stated the wheel assembly and coils needed greased. The squeaking stopped now just 2 months later the squeak has returned and again is getting progressively worse. The blind spot monitor also flashes at random times even when there isnt a vehicle in my blind spot.

Very reliable very smooth very powerful engine and sure you drive v8 it’s a lot of gas as all others and those who claim gmc or Chevy less gas is Not true they are all same but one exception the Armada more reliable then other,,my 1st one 2008 had 289 k on it no major issues at all for over 12 years Now 2018 one over 100 k and still as new and no major issues,,get one and you never regret it
This is my fourth Altima had a 2018 just bought a 2024 SV the inside of the car not only is uncomfortable but half the size of my 2018 can't see out the rear window, the interior noise is tenfold of what the 2018 was have to put the seat all the way back in order to get out of the car. I suggest if you're interested in buying one and you already have an Altima take it for a long drive.
Lots of Power
Eats Gas
The ride is very comfortable with lots of room, plenty of power from the V8 to tow anything you need.
Comfort
Gas mileage
I bought this car for business. It is big, comfortable and roomy. Having a few issues with the fan which resulted in loss of power. It took the dealership a few times to figure the problem out. All fixed now and running good. Technology on the Armada is good but sometimes slow to load up upon car start up. Car is always beeping at me, drive thrus, parking in tight situations… it’s something to get used to. And yes, horrible gas mileage!!! But I did not buy the car for that. Beautiful, handles well, roomy, great for long distances, pulls boats and trailers like a truck.

This is our 2nd Armada. We owned a 2019 SL and bought a 21 Platinum. This 21 Platinum has every single option and is the EXACT same vehicle as the QX 80 for less $. It rides like an absolute dream, super quiet inside and the styling is amazing. The updated screen and wireless carplay is great. Wireless charger is hit and miss, has to be on perfectly which rarely works out. Very happy with the purchase. Gas mileage is bad, but I knew that going in based on the last one we had. That's a price you pay to have a large SUV that is super comfy and roomy for the family.
Beautiful, powerful, stylish, roomy, smooth ride
She likes to eat gas
My 2018 Platinum has been an excellent truck. We are a baseball family and have packed chairs, a large tent and full grown teenage boys in it when the third row is down. The third row isn’t huge but on date night we sit the third row up and fit six comfortably with females in the third row. It drives like a dream. It has some serious getty up. It’s stopped a couple wrecks for me also.
This is my third Nissan armada I love this vehicle. My first one was a 2005 and then I went to 2012 and now I’m in the 17th. I would recommend this vehicle to anybody. It’s great for Large families with 3rows and full middle Seats.. great on gas and handles very well on the open road
Big and roomy
Issues starting
Nothing but trouble from the day I purchased it! Constantly not starting. Had battery replaced twice and told its fine but will still not start all the time! Dealership doesn’t know what’s wrong with it but say it could be plug draining battery even though it’s not on. I can’t even give this thing away!! I would never buy another Nissan!! Doesn’t even deserve one star!
