"Our 1997 Montero SR just kicked 150,000 miles and is still going strong- This truck has blazedthru blizzards in ski country especially the blizzard of the century in the Poconos- It burns a little oil but the fit and finish is still strong- Mitsubishi has the best paint- It even pulled our Nissan Frontier thru the snow-We don't want to give her up we would recommend theis truck to anyone- We also had an 86 2 door that is still going strong use it for taking the dogs to the beach"
"Mitsubishi Montero"
"Have had this truck since 2001, bought it with 19,000 miles - just turned 151,000 last week and still going strong. I had to have the transmission rebuilt last January, but other than normal maintenance it has been a top performer. I often take it off road and have had no issues in mud, snow or gravel. My third off road vehicle and by far the best. Hope it has another 100K in it!"
