Positive Review
Mechanically great and pretty good power for a 4 cyl, although certainly not a fast sexy car. It does love to cruise at highway speeds and with the awesome high mileage, fuel saver tires I put on it, I am getting 32 mpg on the highway. My last car was a wonderul Honda Accord, and although I miss the styling and comfort of the Accord, (outside and particularly interior) I cannot complain about this little trooper. It gets me where I want and need to go, is great on road trips across the desert and through the mountains, is reliable and consistent. I recommend this car to anyone looking for great fuel economy, reliability and practicality.
Critical Review
I've only had this car a few weeks... overall a beautiful looking car, but the inside components are very out-dated & "cheap". Everything leaves a mark on the plastic & the components are very basic including the gas cap! But, my favorite thing is how beautifully it handles. The ease of steering & smooth ride makes for a very comfortable driving experience (which I do often) It has a gorgeous outside appearance; I only wished the interior were as beautiful & modernized. Gas mileage isn't too bad either. Very roomy and comfortable front & back, but I also wished the back-seats folded down if needed. I hope it works out for me, but I wouldn't buy another.

One of the best cars I've ever owned, almost 77k miles with only normal maintenance required, been in a couple accidents, car came out with maybe a small dents and scratches. no mechanical problems and runs like a dream. has never left me stranded, amazing fuel economy, sounds and drives amazing. i highly recommend a Mitsubishi Galant to everyone.
I purchased a 2010 Mitsubishi Galant brand new from Mitsubishi of Irving. It was an amazing car. In one word TANK. These cars last forever!
Great vehicle, well taken care of. Changed audio receiver to TV deck with back up camera. Wheels been exchanged for 20” Rims.
Safe, reliable, comfort, minimal repairs, frugal
bland, slow, watch timing belt
I bought a new Mitsubishi Galant in 2011. This car lasted me until I finally traded it in with over 150k miles in 2021. I loved the car. It was extremely reliable. It never needed any repairs aside from normal maintenance in the ten years I owned it. Brakes, tires, oil changes, belts, and fluid changes were the only things required. The one big thing to remember is to change the timing belt every so often. The factory timing belt should be changed at about 90k miles. If you do this, the car will literally run forever with no problems. Eventually, the salted roads of PA in the winter took their toll on the body. If I could buy another one I would, but I would have it undercoated this time.

I purchased this vehicle as a short term option to take care of a few far off medical trips. I am still driving it eight years later without have any engine problems.
Reliable, roomy, smooth drive, classy looking
cheap interior, 4 speed transmission, gas mileage
Galants are so underrated. It's fun upgrading an older car. I am currently leasing a 2021 Honda Accord, I turned in my 2018 Accord lease in April for the 2021. Honda Accords are my favorites, awesome cars. I had a 2005 Accord Coupe for 11 years with no problems. I wanted a 2nd car for bad weather & to drive to work a couple of days a week in order to keep the miles on my Accord under control. So in November of 2019 I bought a 2012 Mitsubishi Galant in great condition for a decent price of $5,300 from a Mitsubishi dealership. Let me tell you this car rides like a dream & is super reliable. I added a decent double din JVC Bluetooth stereo (Black Friday sale for $150 installed), a backup camera & $100 JBL 6 x 9 speakers in the rear. I bought a piano black dash kit for $100 to cover the ugly wood moulding & added 4 new tires with alignment. The headlights were clouding so I bought a new pair for around $150 from a discount online auto parts store. The car looks good, drives great, is reliable, roomy & comfortable. Since I modernized it with the upgrades, I don't mind driving it at all a few days a week switching from my new Honda Accord. This is a very good & underrated car. I am now a Mitsubishi fan, second to Honda on my list. Yes, I wish it had at least 10 more horsepower (although I wouldn't call it slow) & a 5 speed transmission but I'm still very happy with it. If you need a 2nd car & can get your hands on a Mitsubishi Galant, it's a great value for a solid reliable car. I highly recommend it. I'm thinking about adding a performance chip.
