"Great family van"

We bought this van for a growing family in 2009 and it is still going strong. It was way more comfortable and quiet than the other vans we were considering. The power sliding doors and flip flat 3rd row make it very useful for going on trips.

Critical Review

"Do. Not. Buy. This. Disaster. On. Wheels."

If I could give this car 0 on everything I still wouldn't be happy. The transmission is slipping; I'm trying to sell it before it goes out. It's unreliable, the recall didn't fix anything. The radio stopped working a year after we bought it and only flashed like it was loading. The A/C and heat in the back of the car doesn't work and flow continuously. There's a reason Ford stopped making this car. I'm never buying another Ford again.

Powerful loaded minivan
Pros

Powerful

Cons

Mpg

I bought this van used from an elderly lady who was the original owner. I has get up and go power and is absolutely unbelievably comfortable, from the front seats, middle and back seats. I bought this for everyday use, road trips and camping. The rear seat flips backwards and turns into a tail gate seat. The only downfall I have with the van, gas milage. I average 16.6 mpg in the city and about 21.2 mpg hwy. We went on a 2k Mile road trip and it was perfect.

A great van for the money.
Pros

Great van for the price.

Cons

Cabin is not wide enough.

It's a really nice van for the money. Not as nice as some of the other makes, but not as expensive either. It's taken us to and from Florida many times, and survived 2 Polar Vortex's along with 7 regular Chicago winters. The engine provides plenty of pep to pass if necessary. The only negatives are the advance trac sometimes acts up, the back door handle is fragile, the dashboard mileage light is usually dark or faint, and the radio buttons have been damaged over time. The cabin isn't as wide as I would like, but spending 13K more to get it wasn't in the budget.

Pros

reliable. easy to drive. easily pulls a boat.

Cons

poor gas mileage

we have gone through 2 other cars since we owned this. It is roomy, easy to get in and out of, plenty of pep, fun to drive, etc. Have made several trips from NY to FL and find it is an excellent highway vehicle.
