Critical Review
I leased a 2023 EQB 350 in May 2023, I had to take back shortly for coolant liquid alert, 2 months later it spent more than 2 weeks in the dealership for coolant liquid alert, they fixed it, and then I had to take it for more issues, heads up display did not work, camera system not operable, coolant fluid again just last week, I left it in the dealership for 2 days, today I had a more serious alert, I got a battery alert, the vehicle will not restart, towing is not permitted, the gear stopped working, I turned it off and on, then took it back to the dealership, all of these visit for a 1 year old vehicle.

My 74 year old mom doesn't live in the state where she bought a vehicle from Mercedes Benz of Henderson spanking brand new. They sent her pictures and they told her the car was loaded. She specifically asked if the car had a "Panoramic Roof"? She was immediately told it had one. However, after they received her $25K down payment via wire transfer. They sent a car that was loaded but didn't have a Panoramic Roof. It was dirty inside and outside with plastic still inside on the floor and rugs still in their plastic covering. She demanded the car be returned as its not what she paid for. They in turn asked her to stay in the car and drive it just don't drive long distance whilst they are looking for a car with a Panoramic Roof. She asked them to put her $25k on the car they planned to replace it with. Just out of curiosity and concern for all a friend local to her decided to take her to a local dealer to ask what the value would be on a trade because the Las Vegas of Henderson dealership wasn't having success in finding the car she wanted. This was 7 days after the car was delivered. The car only has 000305 miles on it at this period of time. This 2024 EQB MSRP at $66K that was discounted to $50,750 the her $25K down and the local dealership told her that all of her equity in 7 days had evaporated. They only wanted to pay the car of and have her start over. She just put $25K down days ago. We are then told that all electric cars are depreciated this way. 50% driving off the lot. No one told her this even after she asked for the vehicle to be taken back. Mercedes Benz of Henderson also says that there is no equity and they aren't willing to take the car back and tear up the contract or give her the $25K she put down back. The car isn't worth the Suggested MSRP or Listed MSRP. It's wildly over priced and it has Zero value on a buy or lease. If you lease it the residual you are guaranteed is not the value the dealerships will pay for the vehicle. This is true even if you return the car in a day or a year.

Styling. Fit and Finish. Handling. Cargo space.
Dependability. Glitchy electronics.
Avoid the Mercedes EQB300. Leased in July, 2023 and a constant source of problems. Sensors disabled 3 times and each time the dealer said they repaired. Went into "limp mode" once dropping from 50mph to 20mph. Dealer replaced rear motor. Always a little electronic or app glitch here and there. The vehicle handles and drives adeptly and interior fit and finish is what you would expect from Mercedes. No complaints there. But the dependability, electronics and the ability of Mercedes to diagnose issues and provide guidelines to dealers on actually how to fix them is absent. I currently have a lemon law claim pending and hope that I will be able to return this highly questionable vehicle which does not make me feel safe.
