A Ladies review here. I don't usually write reviews but here it goes. I was in the market and test drove Porsche Cayenne/Macan, Maserati Levante, Land Rover RR, Jaguar and many others in its class. I have owned RR-sport, RR full size, Many BMW, Lexus, etc. I was looking for luxury, comfort, performance and didn't want to spend 100k. I do my research and read my reviews from many diligent enthusiasts and decided to go test drive a mercedes. Haven't owned one before. A friend has owned nothing but mercedes for years and he recommended I go see and drive. So I did and 2019 GLE 43 AMG coupe with every avail. amenity optioned. Won me over. I wanted to wait till the newer 2021 GLE 53 amg coupe, but the wait would be too long for me, so I decided to lease 43 coupe until it arrived. I have had my 43 for about 6 months and OMG LOVE this sporty car. Interior is very comfy and leather trim dash is worth the $. Instrument layout easy to reach and utilize. The usability so far is perfect for me. I am not a gadget person, but if you are, there are a lot of tech to play with and arrange. ( color lights etc. ) Stereo sound exceptional ( i love my play list a bit on the loud side ) and it sings beautifully. Sun roof panel is great and not a ton of wind noise while open and driving. My adult passengers are very comfy ( with room ) in rear with their own controls for warmth or air. Glad i did not go with the bit smaller glc version. I was worried about the drive with the 22" wheels, thought it might be too rough, but it has the option to change drive modes from Eco,Comfy,Sport and my favorite Sport+. Shifting is smooth, acceleration is good but at times can be a bit jumpy when stomping on gas into turns. It can take a second to engage. not bad though. Braking is very impressive. And lets talk about hitting the gas through turns. I am so impressed with this cars ability to take a curve at high speeds and grab the road with little to NO sway/roll. The suspension has fancy equip. that shifts weight of vehicle when you hit turns to counter the distribution. So you don't feel like the marshmallow sway when cornering. AMAZING !! I do love the rumbling of the engine as well. Some may not like it. But as a car enthusiast I absolutely love hearing my engine purrrr. And she does. The cabin is remarkably quiet even on freeway. And if in comfy drive mode she is quite smooth ( even with 22" wheels) if desired. No interior vibrations, rattles or electronic panel malfunctions of any kind. Wasn't sure at first look of the exterior, seemed a bit bulky ( turtle-ish ) if you will, but I have grown to love the non-conformist look. Seemed as though everything I test drove, while looking, look exactly the same as every other SUV out there. I was also concerned about seeing out the smaller back window, but with the surround cameras and sensors I have NO problems getting in and out easily where ever I am. Overall I am over joyed with this purchase. Happy safe driving

Critical Review
My overall rating is an F!!! For 60K this vehicle is missing so many creature comforts that most cars in the 25K range have. No keyless entry..cant control the radio from the steering wheel..no voice commands..only holds 10 freaking phone numbers..among other things. I tried to take it back the next day to no avail, I tried to trade it in the next day for a Lexus RX 350 but they only would give me 45 for the car!!

First impressions on vehicle are great. My biggest issue was with dealership and their service. I had bought a prepaid service plan, it was a mistake, Dealer did not follow the said maintenance program and I actually caught them saying they did service on my car when they never did. Their service program has a time limit and not mileage. Had to return car for oil change to the final service even when it wasn't needed. I haven't had any problems with the vehicle other then needing tires at 32K miles. I bought a tire with a more aggressive tread and its a noisier ride . I recommend finding a independent repair shop you can trust to service the vehicle. I had actually purchased a extended warranty but decided to cancel it after a terrible service experience at the dealership.

Wwe have owned this car since 2017 and put 82,000 miles on it and it still runs like new! This car has been driven all over the southeastern USA and never disappointed.
The vehicle performs as well as I could expect. have no complaints about it. I purchased the vehicle with a premium sound system that I really enjoy.

I am the original owner. It is in perfect condition. Low mileage 20,700. It has two pre-paid service appointments and an extended warranty in effect which are NOT reflected in this Blue Book Price. The MBZ dealer will verify that it has had all the recommended servicing on time nd NOT one major or even minor repair.
Better than I expected Expensive Worth it? Jury out.... will this hold its value? Good question!?!

The keys constantly don't detect and leave you stranded. Yes, changed fob battery's. The battery or system has phantom no starts with dead battery leaving you stranded. We cannot drive car any place and turn off of fear of being stranded. Gas cover will close eventually after 30 attempts. Brakes don't have pad detector wiring on one side. It was a very low milage Mercedes "guaranteed used car". When paid off, I plan to drive to junk yard and drop it off.

NO CONS, LIKE MOST MERCEDES AN EXCELLENT AUTO!
THIS VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED TO BE A CHURCH GOING AUTO FOR MY WIFE AND MY SELF. IT HAS BEEN IN OUR STORAGE ACCOUNTING FOR THE LOW MILAGE. WE LIKE DRIVING THE GLE MERCEDES. WE ALSO HAVE A NEWER TOYOTO PU AND A NISAN ARMANDA WE WOULD LIKE TO SELL THE GLE BEFORE ADDING ADDITIONAL MILEAGE. IT IS A LIKE NEW AUTO WITH NO KNOWN FAULTS.
