If you want a sporty coupe or sedan, but prefer the high-riding position of an SUV and don’t want to drive something that looks like the delivery box for another car, the 2018 GLC Coupe might be the right call for you.
There’s a sacrifice in cargo and rear-seat headroom that’s inescapable, and if you think those are key to SUV ownership, there are plenty of other offerings. There’s the GLC itself, for starters, along with the BMW X3, Cadillac XT5, Lexus RX, Audi Q5, and so on. If you want similar utility without the high ride, a luxury liftback like the Audi A5 may be the ticket.
