I love my Mercedes for many reasons, but it didn't start out that way. I bought my 2008 CL550 almost 5 years ago now. I bought her used with 18K miles. Good thing, I purchased it CPO then as the 1st year I owned my car, was pure Frustration. I had this car @ the dealer almost every other month fixing all the problems. I practically had most the car replaced (even the drvier's seat)-believe it or not! However, once I got most of the gremlins out, It has been a JOY to drive and keep. I am 6'2 tall, and it fits me perfectly. I can't tell you how hard it is to find a car that I can feel comfortable in, legroom and all. There is the high quality materials and mood lightening around the interior which I like. I have the Designo Graphite Package with Natural Oak Wood Trim and Corteccia. Its so exclusive that I think they told me there are only 1 other car like mine in the whole USA! The Natural Oak wood & Corteccia in contrast to the leather seats is eye catching for sure. I also have the 20" AMG wheels on my CL550. There have few times I been stopped on the street and complimented for my car's beauty. (One guy even wanted to buy it on the spot!) There are not many other cars I would trade it in for at this point. I just love the luxury and comfort of this car.

Over priced for what you get. The AMG wheels crack easily. Not a smooth ride for the money. Small problems that are more of a pain. Dealer does fix right away.

It's my 3rd coupe (E320 -95', CL500 -02') & it's INCREDIBLE. Had it since it 2012 & it still "turns heads". The shape, lines & overall style have not been duplicated. It is truly a unique model & a joy to the eye, not-to-mention it "rides like a dream"...still.

Absolutely incredible drivers car. Hugs you like a glove and loves to run. On top of that 25 mpg on the open road with ethanol free 93 octane fuel.

Besides being a 1 of 1 built in the rarest color and pure white full leather Designo interior, this full Designo CL is the standard of the world. I love it more than my Bentley GT or even my 2014 CL600.
Luxury, Performance, HK sound & trunk space.
Maybe too nice for daily driver?
The '11 CL550 4matic Sport is my daily driver in Northern IL burbs. GREAT CAR! It's worth the $ for the extra options. I do use the snow tires from my '08 S550 in the winter, a must in the snow belt. The twin turbo has great performance. Decent fuel economy once you learn to back off the pedal. Handling is great in sport mode. This is a heavily optioned car MSRP was just under $130K new, paid 20% of that in fall of '20 w/60K miles. This is my 3rd M-B and is living up to the challenge as a daily driver. Take care of it and it will take care of you. Added a remote start option do to the retracting windows when the doors are opened (no B pillar). Windows can freeze up during icy conditions. Next M-B will be AMG.
Super thrust for a big car.

Ive been looking at this car for a while and dreaming to get one. I got lucky finding one. I couldn't ask for a better engine. The Twin turbo 4.7 and 4-matic all wheel drive is surprisingly good on gas. I got a diamond white CL. Its definitely eye candy and i get many compliments. I haven't seen one yet in Orlando. This car is super rare and i love it.
Just purchased a used CL550 so far so good. The ride is awesome, you can feel the power of that V8. I have a Silver (with Black Interior) and the looks and comments about the car are plentiful. People are ALWAYS so surprised to know it is 10 years old. Good job Mercedes
