I have driven this Miata and loved every minute. it handles beautifully. Everything is original, never been wrecked. The upholstery on the driver's side is a little worn and the rear view window has blurred some.

The Miata is by far the best car I have ever owned in my life. I could probably write a whole thesis on this but to keep things short the Miata checks every single box for a great first car. These little cars are extremely reliable. When I mean reliable I really mean it. I bought my Miata from this old lady who had it sitting in her garage for over 4 years. I had to tow it home of course because I wanted to make sure everything is good before I ran it. So I replaced all the fluids, alternator, battery, belts, and all the basic things. I did all this work in about 2 days. It was super easy to work on because the engine bay is massive while also being a small engine. So you have plenty of space to move your hands around. I first started it and it worked beautifully. The only hard part of fixing it was the fuel filter but other than that a Miata is a gear head's best friend. Driving this car is even more better. Putting the top down and going for a cruise never gets boring. Feeling the breeze pass your face while looking out and seeing amazing views. Not only is this car amazing to drive but has great downforce and traction for a stock car. You could go up winding roads on the side of the mountain at high speeds and never loose control. Although it's not the best to do that this car is amazing around turns and corners. Not only is the Miata fun to drive but it's super easy to park. When I drive to school all the way in town parking is super tight. But the Miata just glides right into that parking spot. Like butter on bread. Not to mention gas mileage is really good. Considering how high gas is this car only takes about $50 for a full tank. I try to use as little gas as possible. When I'm coming down hills I just throw the car in neutral and let it coast. Which can save me decent amount of gas. One things that separates Miata's from other cars is the community. The community of Miata owners around the world are some of the most welcoming and helpful people ever. If you need to fix something there is a YouTube tutorial on every part and bolt in the car. Or if I am trying to research some thing it only takes a couple forms and reddit posts to find what I am looking for. I have a few cons on the car. I use the Highway everyday to get to school and in the Miata it can get a bit loud. For me it is not so much of an issue but to some people it could be. One thing to is there is little to no room for storage. Sometimes it can get a bit annoying if I need to put big things. But If I can't fit it in my trunk, I just stuff it into the passenger seat. Overall this car is a 10/10. Even for a first car it is amazing. It's easy to work on, great community, no blind spots, good on gas, easy to drive, and never breaks down. If you can get your hands on a Miata you will not be disappointed.

have owned the miata for 22 years, second owner. garage kept the entire time and not a spot of rust original top and plastic rear window has discoloration but no leaks, interior drivers seat shows wear but no breaks automatic and no power accessories. maintained by local garage. has new radiator, brakes and oil changed regularly

I have owned since new and it is teh most reliable car I have ever owned, still even in 2022. It is always easy to fix. The worst problem was when my power steering pump failed and ruined my air conditioning pump. Besides usual maintenance the only other major issues was a new radiator and a cam sensor . I drive it like I stole and it still has original clutch. I have much faster and flasher cars but I this car give me teh most smiles

I daily my Miata and I love it. I’ve had my 1992 for over a year now and it has had minor issues and had driven all over the place. If you are willing to put money in to maintain it, it’s an amazing car.

Fun! Fun! Fun! little car!! The old adage "it rides like it's on rails" is true to form for this car.

Bought my 94 Miata from a friend at work, and on the test drive, pulled up to a stop light, and noticed a 4 wheel drive, lifted pickup, ease up behind me. Looking in the rearview at pretty much his bumper, about 4 feet behind me, gave me a sense of dread, but that went away as soon as the light turned green and he was just a distant memory! Quick, responsive, perfectly setup cockpit, with a short, quick stick that makes even me a great driver. The top drops with the release of 2 clips and you're in the wind. I drove this car across several states, and either I got lucky, or the seats just held me perfectly after a few miles, but no fatigue, or soreness even after a 600 mile day. 4 wheel disk brakes stop quickly, but are not ABS, so skidding is possible, especially on wet roads. It is a small car, and I am 6'2" and aside from a little twisting to get in and out, once I'm down in the seat, it's perfect. And I do mean, down in.....the seats are almost on the floor, but that is why a tall guy like me can fit in there and not hit the top. I have had so much fun driving this car, I don't think I'll ever sell it. Putting my first clutch, bearing and pressure plate in it now, and other than that, not much mechanical work needed. But when you do, be ready, it's tight almost everywhere. Not a surprise. If you find one, get it! Affordable sports car for the common man!

Step into a miata and prepare for some of the most fun you can have behind the wheel ever. This car is small, really small. I have a soft spot for small cars so this isn't an issue for me, but if you are a bigger person, you might want to look into cutting the foam in the seats. The car doesn't make much power, so don't expect crazy 1/4 mile times, because this thing is slow, really slow. Reliably is another thing, good luck breaking this thing, I'm pretty sure it's indestructible.
