Positive Review
I have owned this car for nearly 4 years, and love it. Change the oil regularly with full synthetic, and have had no issues at all. I only wish it got a little better gas mileage... gets around 25 on highway....
Critical Review
Bought 2008 Mazda CX7 brand new from the dealer,7 years & only 50335 miles. I've had it with service dept, my 1st yr the plastic a/c vents came apart, went to mazda for replacement, they accused me of breaking them. The brakes are constantly making noise, according to them, build up of dust in the brake ducts. 2012 broken motor mount car has less then 35000 miles. Fast forward 2015 white smoke, smell of burning rubber, hot air coming from vents. A/C compressor a recalled item stalls, take it 2 Mazda service your warranty years have expired cost 2 fix $909+tax no discount on repair for a recalled/defective part

Beautiful Inside & Out
Mazdi has been a part of my family since 2010. Financed used(2007)! Mazdi still runs amazingly. With lots of TLC I hope to have Mazdi for hopefully 3-5 more years. 139000 with 60000 more to go. With great shoes n timely maintenance Mazdi is a keeper! Need a little touch up paint but we will work it out🥰
Nice interior
Bad engines
Know lots of these models that threw engine rods. I have a 2008 cx7 and contrary to how Mazdas tried to blame owners, the oil was changed on schedule and fully maintained. This car didn't make it past 125,000 miles before the engine went bad. Hate that these were only made with one engine option, the turbo 2.3l. Would like to have replaced the bad engine with a non-turbo, but they didn't make them for this model. With the number of these engines that went bad there should've been a recall and the engines replaced for free. Shame on you Mazda!!! Fully loaded vehicle with Bose system, leather and navigation and a bad engine! I have a 2004 Honda CR-V with 310,000 miles and it's still going strong. Mazda can learn from them how to make vehicles!
Still strong at 240000 miles, cheap maintenance
Slow acceleration, gas, air conditioner is costly
I have a 2010 mazda cX7 ISV and it has been an excellent vehicle for me. I have not had any major issues the problems I have had were not expensive to fix. With routine maintenance and proper up keep mine is up to 240,000 miles and it still runs strong, the only thing I do not like is it is not a get up and go you can accelerate but it isn't fast at all.
A driving dream!
I love the power, agility and stability that it offers. The design is sporty and sharp. Even the Icy blue color makes me smile. It still drives like a new car and it’s very dependable. I’m considering keeping it as a collectable. Triple AAA+
Auto-raise trunk, sunroof, cd player
Confusing dash controls
Kept running through problems. Ran the same, if not better than when I got it, even after the wear and tear of a 6 year ownership. Driven across the country twice and many miles around town and also out of town. The only thing I don't like is that the seats are uncomfortable...but there are seat warmers which is nice.
Awesome navigation
Has sun roof
It has been one of my best vehicle ever has lots of room very comfortable even has leather seats and seat warmer
Reliable, good looking vehicle, spacious
Noisy engine, requires premium gas & synthetic oil
I bought my '07 used in 2010. I love this car. It has been reliable and a great vehicle for my two children and I. I like that there is space to fit large items that you can't fit in a sedan. Body style is sharp. It's been a great vehicle for over 11 years! The engine has always been a little louder, but never caused an issue or advised to repair when I asked mechanics about it. If they still made this model I would definitely buy it again. It does require premium gas and synthetic oil so operating costs might be higher than similar vehicles...but I can't fully attest to this.
Great milage, sleek looking
Small lifter noise at 120000
Dependable, classy, affordable.
