"GREAT car if you one the 5 speed"

I bought this car 4 years ago with about 132000 miles on it. I am a certified mechanic and knew it would be a good car. I paid $2000 for it and got my money’s worth several times over. I am squeezing nearly 40mpg out of it and currently have nearly 203000 miles on it. It runs and drives like new. If you come across one of these for sale I highly recommend buying it if it is a 5 speed. If it is automatic I would strongly suggest against it. This is a flawless car except for the automatic transmission. Mine is nearly 17 years old and I drive it nearly 180 miles a day. It has power everything and it all works. It even has a factory CD player and oscillating vents; they still work too. This car runs smooth, drives great, is comfortable to be in, and gets great gas millage. I love this car despite its slightly less than attractive appearance and will drive it until it dies; which I know will be a long time from now.

"the car is 14 yrs old now"

its a decent car for being 14 yrs old ofcouse its going through its repairs but the cost of repair is definitely doable i just switched the timing belt, water pump, headgasket, belts, seals, a radiator flush the alternator and a new battery all for 700 bucks..

Oldie but goody
Pros

too many pros

Cons

entrance and exiting

Entrance and exit can be challenging but once used to its low posture your golden. Car was GIVEN to me on 1.10.23 i almost fainted when I saw my present. this crimson colored gem was garaged kept and driven around 25 miles per week. No joke! All have done was mainatence issues such as oil changes (2) $35.00 each, Timing Belt and Water pump (1 each) $950.00 and wiper blades (2) 15.00 each. So for $1,200.00 i gor a car with a craving to be driven I did nothing but stare at it for a week inn disbelief. is this really mine? Was i that blessed? The car was totally detailed right before I got it. There are no dents, scratches, dings and of course no rust. The car looks new and when i was presented the car I as also given a copy of every receipt for maintenance and repairs. TMI but appreciated as i believe the car was maintained. Whether at 35 or 75 mph quiet and confident. Ok 1 negative the stearing wheek gets hot from sun but the AC still runs powerfully and ice cold.

Love this car!!
Pros

Lasts a long time

Cons

Gas mileage

I bought my 626 from an elderly man for only $1,500 and at that time it had 190,000 miles on it. I have now had it for almost 4 years, and it’s still going strong with now 220,000 miles. I haven’t even had to put that much money into it since I have had it. I definitely recommend this car for any high school students or even just as a commuter car since it was great to learn to drive on and is still a great car.

Long lasting
Pros

Long lasting, easy to maintain

I bought this car in 2008. I was the third owner.I never had any major issues with it. I put more money getting new tires for it every couple years than in repairs (all 3 of them.)

Super low mileage, dependable.
Pros

Super low mileage, no accidents.

Cons

Needs new rear tires and some exhaust work.

This was little old lady car sold to my daughter for college. So only 2 owners. No accidents.. Super low mileage. Back tires have low tread. Starts up every time, even in the dead of winter buried under a foot of snow. No dents. Sun roof not working but repairable. A few tears in roof upholstery but can be fixed. Brakes repaired in 2014. Have paper work. A great car that my daughter used for college. Needs some exhaust pipe work. Roars when started, then quiets down. A good reliable engine. Would be great with some minor repairs.

Pros

Good commuter car at 26MPG

Cons

Transmission is what wears out first

I purchased this car for $900 and had it for 4 years. If you're looking for a commuter car that you will have to junk at the end of your ownership, this is the car for you.
